Course Description Business Plan Implementation 2 is a continuation of Business


Plan Implementation 1. It focuses on the accomplishment of
legal requirements for business, efficient business management
and practice of corporate social responsibility.

This course intends to train the students to evaluate the


business and propose plan of action through designing and
installation of internal control and accounting system; It also
aims to let the students learn the different requirements and
processes in securing business permits; The course also allow
the students to engage in a corporate social responsibility
initiative.
Course Outcomes At the end of the course, students should be able to:
 Evaluate the business operations and come up with plan
of action to address challenges of the previous
operations.
 Secure legal requirements to operate a business.
 Design and install Internal Control System.
 Design and use special journal peculiar to business.
 Prepare periodic financial reports.
 Liquidate the business following the legal process. (for
those who will decide to cease the operations).
 Prepare an expansion plan (for those who intend to
continue the business).
 Accomplish legal papers to sell the business (for those
who intend to sell the business).
 Demonstrate Corporate citizenship.
Course Format The course will employ actual business operations, periodic
evaluation and monitoring, mentoring as its main strategies. A
workbook designed by the instructor will be used to capture the
learning development of the students.

Materials
Course Students must operate their business with at least 600 hours evidenced by
Requiremen time cards duly signed by the supervising instructor.

Students are required to fill out activities in the Business Plan
Implementation Workbook and the same must be submitted to the
supervising instructor one week before the end of the semester.

Students must religiously observe the university/college/department and


course policies at all times during the conduct of business implementation.

Requirements required to be submitted on hard copy must be printed on a


short bond paper using Arial size 12 font with 1 ½ spacing paragraph
justified. Cover page must reflect the name of the requirement, the course
where it is required, the student/s who prepared the requirements, the date it
was submitted and the name of the instructor.

Students must submit an accomplishment report (per business) one week


before the end of the semester with the following contents: Title Page,
Abstract, Approval Sheet Acknowledgement, Table of Contents, Introduction,
Accomplishment Highlights in Organization, Business Location, Registration,
Personnel Management, Marketing Management, Production and
Operations Management, Financial Management, Corporate Social
Responsibilities and Financial Reports. Each area must be supported by
facts/data and at least five photos. References must be cited properly using
APA Style. The biographical sketch of the author/authors must be presented
in the appendices together with permits, contracts and other pertinent
documents. A photo gallery must also be provided at the appendices section.

The following requirements will be considered in grading the students:

Course Students must be at the area/business during unannounced visit and
Policies evaluation. Three absences during the said visit will be enough cause to
drop the student.

Honesty in academic work/requirements must be maintained at all times.


Borrowed literatures must be cited properly. Student caught cheating in any
form will be penalized according to the university policy.

Students with special needs (PWD, single parent, working student) will be
given consideration only when they inform the instructor about their situation.

Legal documents that proves liquidation/sale/transfer of business must be


provided prior to issuance of grades.

Liabilities from outside parties must be reported to the supervising instructor


and the student must secure clearance from creditors before he/she will be
given grades.
