INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1 All Candidates should be dressed decently.
2 Only Candidates wearing mask will be allowed inside the Examination Venue and the mask should be
worn at all times inside the Examination Venue by all..
3 All Candidates are strictly instructed not to throw the used mask then and there but to dispose their
mask only at the place specified, in accordance with hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
4 While entering the examination centre, the candidates shall sanitize their hands and undergo thermal
scanning for temperature. All Candidates should maintain physical distancing of minimum 6 feet, while
queuing up for entry and inside the venue. No candidate will be allowed into the Examination hall
venue after the commencement of examination for the respective batch under the circumstances. The
candidates absent for their allotted batch will not be allowed to other batch under any
circumstances. Except the candidate, no other person will be permitted into the Examination
Campus.
5 Candidates who have been tested positive for Corona virus or advised to be in quarantine period or
identified as a potential carrier of COVID - 19 virus shall, without fail, inform the College / High Court
authorities concerned standing at the entry point of the Examination Centre, so as to be allotted
seating in the isolation room. Likewise, candidates found with/reporting symptoms of fever will be
allotted seats in the Isolation room.
6 6. All the Candidates are strictly instructed to report at the venue one hour before the commencement
of the Examination and there will be no grace time. They should leave the Examination hall only after
signing their printed Answer Sheets.
7 Candidates should carry Hall Ticket with valid photo ID proof, in original. If the Photos of the
candidates are not legible in the Hall Ticket, they shall bring their Hall Ticket affixing the Passport size
Photograph at the space provided for the purpose (in duplicate) along with any one photo ID proof like
Aadhar Card, Driving License, Pan Card, any employee photo ID etc.
8 Only the following items are permitted into the examination room:
(i) Blue or Black Ball point pen/s
(ii) Transparent water bottle
(iii) Transparent hand sanitizer bottle (50 ml.)
(iv) Candidates may also use hand gloves/Shield at their discretion.
9 Sharing of personal belongings / stationery are not allowed.
10 Candidates will not be allowed into the Examination Rooms with Cell Phone, Belt, Purse, Keys,
Calculators, Watches, Rings or any device with inbuilt Memory Notes or any other electronic
devices and non-electronic devices such as P&G Design Data Book, Books, Notes, Hand Bags
and recording devices either as separate piece or part of something used by the candidate
such as Watch or ring etc. into the examination venue.
11 Scheme of Examination.
(a)English Typing Passage – 10 minutes
(b)Tamil Typing Passage – 10 minutes
(c)Practical skill test – 90 minutes

12 For English and Tamil typing tests, Candidates should not retype the passage, even if they complete
the respective typing test, before the prescribed ten minutes.
13 Candidates shall first ensure that the Question Booklet contains all the pages. In case any defect is
found in the booklet, they can request for replacement of the same from the invigilator immediately.
14 Candidates should not tear off any leaf from the question booklet.
15 No request for change of date, time or venue will be entertained, under any circumstances.
16 Candidates are strictly advised not to bring bags and prohibited items mentioned in the notification into
the examination venue. If they bring any such item, they would have to make their own arrangements
for safe custody of such items. The Recruitment Cell, High court, Madras and the Colleges/School
authorities will not be responsible for the safe-custody of the belongings of the candidates.
17 Candidates found in inebriated condition will not be permitted into the Examination Venue.
18 The Examination venues / halls are under CCTV coverage. Candidate shall not indulge in any
irregular practices as mentioned in the Instructions to candidates, appended to the Notification. Any
violation would lead to the candidate being sent out of the Examination Hall and his/her Answer sheet
will be invalidated and the candidate shall be debarred from the present and future examinations.
19 Candidate should not write anything on the Hall Ticket and Question Booklet, except in the space
provided for rough work.
