Chapter 4
Presentation and Interpretation of Findings
Presentation and interpretation of findings is considered as the report of the research. This
chapter helps the researchers to elaborate the result of their conduct gathering of information
(survey form) from the respondents. In this the researchers include the following: introductory
paragraph, figures and tables to represent the result, frequency distribution, the percentage
distribution, weighted mean with rank and the supporting details to elaborate the result.

Figure 1. Frequency distribution according to the gender of the respondents.
This figure shows that in Academic track, the male respondents are 2 and the
female are 17 while in TechVoc Track, male respondents are 10 and the female are 8.
It only shows that 70% of the respondents are female and 30% are male. Therefore
the researchers concluded that the Senior High of SCNHS is outnumbered by
females.

Figure 2. Frequency distribution according to the age of the respondents.
The figure shows that in Academic track, 15 respondents are in the 15-17 range of
age and 4 respondents are in the 18-20 range of age while in TechVoc track, 10
respondents are in the age of 15-17 and 8 respondents are in the age of 18-20. It
means that 68% of the respondents are in between 15 to 17 years of age and 32% are

that may affect the business success. This is the characteristic owned entrepreneur
includes: age, gender, religion, the influence of the family (family influence).

Navarro,2007), it confirmed that there is no such thing as “true entrepreneurial profile” as
Hisrich and Peters contend. Thus, a potential entrepreneur could be young or old, male or
female, first born or not. A person may venture into business at whatever age he or she
feels ready in terms of ideas and financial.

Figure 3. Frequency distribution according to the track/strand of the respondents.
This pie chart illustrates the frequency of the track/strand of the
respondents. In Academic Track, 37% are ABM since 12 respondents were came from
this strand while 21% are HumSS since that 7 respondents were chosen from the said
strand. In TVL, 18% are from the ICT representing the 6 respondents, 15 % from HE
representing 5 respondents, 6% from EIM representing 2 respondents and SMAW covers
the 3% of the total respondents since only 1 respondent was came from this strand.
Meaning, Academic Track represents the 58% of the total respondents since that 19
