We have divided the content into sections for you to read what you want.
Learn and share with family and friends.
You are experiencing a very memorable part of the history of mankind. Stories will be told,
most likely until the end of time. So, what can you do with this issue? 1) Read it 2) share it
with others 3) print it, then put it in a time capsule and bury it in your back yard 4) pass it
on to your family to pass down from generation to generation.
Yes, you can do what you want with it. However, it’s best that you learn from it. A large
portion of our content involves coping strategies such as learning to keep busy and avoid
boredom during lockdown or quarantine. Due to lengthy content, our newsletter/magazine is
presented in two sections. The first one includes “COVID-19 General Information”, “Some
“Do’s and Don’ts” and some stats and graphics. Our second section includes “Your Immune
System: General Information”, “Your Immune System: Mental Health”, “Your Immune System:
Exercise”, and “Vaccines”, an editorial and “Conclusion”. More material is consistently being
gathered and will be placed on our website and sent by email to those on our opt-in list. See
details inside.

Introduction to our Pandemic Issue of TLC 2
It’s here. It’s not a dream (or a nightmare);
it’s a reality. You are experiencing a very serious
pandemic. You may have seen movies about it and
counted them as fiction. Now you must face the
reality. Some people are handling it better than
others.
As the number of COVID-19 cases rise
across our nation and the world, hospitals are
short-staffed, available beds are scarce, and the
number of fatalities has increased dramatically.
Does that scare you? As of December of 2020,
more than 16 million people in the U.S. have been
infected with the virus, and more than 1/4 million people lost their lives. As of December 3,
more than 100,000 U.S. citizens are hospitalized. Many hospitals are understaffed and short
of available beds. We are considered to be in the third wave. That’s scary.
We hope the following information will teach you or reinforce what you already know
and help you get through this easier. Some information may serve as reminders to help you
take care of yourself. For example, you have heard many times that you need to exercise and
eat healthy foods. However, you may be inclined to postpone trying harder to maintain
those important tasks. The following material may present thoughts and information to help
you get motivated.
Our articles are written by various authors and may overlap some ideas or infor-
mation. For example, exercise is mentioned very often with different views or points. This re-
inforcement should help you to better understand the significance. Other useful tips are in-
cluded that should help you know what to do to cope with this pandemic.
Much of the information is presented in simple, common-sense applications that you
may already know. However, we may have provided more details to help give you a better
understanding on various topics. It may be good for you to share the information with your
children or grandchildren so that know why they are supposed to wear masks and keep away
from their friends.
For the curious minds, we have also included some technical information and tried to
put it in layman’s terms.
We hope you learn and apply some of the material. If you think you need more
help learning to cope, why not join us in our on-line Stress Relief 101:The TLC Way
