DRAMA CLUB CONTRACT

The purpose of this club is for all students involved to work on the Fall Play and
produce various events to expand the art of theatre in Warren Township. The
divisions available include: actors/actresses, props and costumes, lights and
curtains, set design, set movers, and public relations.

EXPECTATIONS:
1. Grades must be maintained. Teachers and advisors have the discretion to
dismiss students who are not achieving academically or who are displaying
inappropriate behavior.
2. Attendance will be taken at all meetings and rehearsals. Students should be
attaining 5 thespian points a semester. All Drama Club members are responsible
for recording and submitting their own points. Officers will assist with questions
about point values. The Drama Club sponsor will make the final decision on the
proper allocation of points.
3. Meetings will be held on a monthly basis for both Gold Cohort and Black Cohort
days. Virtual only students can choose to attend either meeting virtually.
4. Actors/Actresses for the Fall Play: You must audition on the audition date
provided. Cold readings will be provided. Rehearsal dates are flexible this year
due to the play being virtual. Your schedule will be determined with your director,
but there will be a minimum number of rehearsals required.
5. Technical / Management Opportunity: Maybe you don’t want to act? That’s
fine! You can also be involved with the show from a technical and management
perspective!
