Section 3.
9 : MPLS VPN
• On RR2 and P2, configure bi-directional route importing between IS-IS and OSPF. Loopback 0 interfaces of P2 and PE4 communicate with each other through the
optimal path. The configuration should have the best scalability to solve issue caused by dual-node-bi-directional route importing.
• Configure RR2 and P2 to achieve following objectives:-
• ASBR1&ASBR2 Learn routes to Loopback 0 interfaces of PE3&PE4.
• PE3&PE4 Learn routes to Loopback 0 interfaces of all devices in AS100 and AS200.
• Loopback 0 interfaces of P2 and PE4 communicate with each other through optimal path.
• Configuration should have best scalability.

Section 3.11 – 3.12 : MPLS VPN
• If link between CE1 and PE1 is disconnected, CE1 can still learn service network segment of spoke devices. If link between
CE2 and PE2 is disconnected,CE2 can still learn service network segment of spoke services. Configuration should have best
scalability / On CE1 and CE2, import BGP routes to OSPF. The configuration should have the best scalability to solve issue
caused by dual-node-bi-directional route importing.
• When links are normal, it is required that CE1 and CE2 don’t bypass local AS when they access service network segment of
spoke devices / On CE1 and CE2, configure preference of EBGP as 120
Section 3.13 : MPLS VPN
• Modify the BGP local-preference attribute on PE3 and PE4, so that when CE3 and CE4 access the non-directly connected
network segment 10.3.X.0/24, PE3 and PE4 preferentially select PE1 as next hop if X is an odd number, or preferentially
select PE2 as next hop if X is an even number. Consistency of round trip paths does not need to be considered.
