FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Apex Tool Group is looking for exceptional talent to join our Retail Team as a Field Sales Representative.
This is an entry-level, full-time role with potential to progress in our organization to senior-level sales
and marketing positions.  This position will be responsible for creating brand awareness, generating
customer demand, building relationships with store associates, maintaining the integrity of our products
and achieving sales goals. Representatives will be responsible for the in-store presence of ATG's product
lines in big-box retailers in a given territory and interact directly with current and potential customers.
This position will report to the Field Sales Manager.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be provided in-depth product, sales, merchandising and
associate development training. Successful Representatives must be resourceful, self-confident, stress-
tolerant, flexible and resilient. You must have the desire and ability to thrive in a fast-paced
environment. It is also important that you have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with
the ability to easily build trust and credibility to influence.

Key Responsibilities
 Create brand and product awareness through conducting product demonstrations in stores
 Seek out and execute cross selling opportunities in your stores for ATG products
 Listen to “Voice of the Customer” and share feedback with Leadership team
 Ensure product and planograms are in proper condition
 Build relationships with customers, store associates, and managers
 Educate store employees on key features, benefits and applications of ATG products. Conduct
product demonstrations.
 Develop new tactics for grown sales by creating in store, unmatched sales experiences
 Provide daily updates and weekly reports of sales successes in key markets

Critical Skills & Qualifications
 BS in Business, Marketing or related field
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 Self-motived, performs under pressure
 Ability to excel in a team environment
 Ability to work flexible hours to include nights and weekends
 Valid driver’s license with clean driving history
 Must demonstrate self-motivation at a high level of independence
 Capable of lifting and transporting heavy tools (up to 50 lbs.) and requesting assistance as needed
 Capable of reaching and / or lifting overhead in addition to ascending / descending ladders to move
product
 Capable of using hands to assemble tools and build displays
 Capable and willingness to stay on your feet for long periods of time demonstrating tools and
building displays
