ASSIGNMENT (10 MARKS)

Q1. Write paragraphs of about 120 to 150 words on any ONE of the given topics. Also

use and illustrate brainstorming as a prewriting strategy. (7 marks)

a) Youngsters should not be allowed to play PUBG.

b) A time when you experienced rejection.

c) A disappointing birthday experience.

Assessment Rubric for Paragraph Writing Task:


a. Brainstorming: 2 marks
b. Structure: Content / Relevance: 2 marks
c. Language: Cohesion, Coherence and Accuracy: 3 marks
