talk about appropriate punishments for different crimes
I think that punishment should be appropriate and proportionate to the crime committed. Fines
and compulsory labour may represent sufficient punishment for non-violent crimes. Violent
crimes such as serious bodily injury or murder require more strict punishment in my opinion –
confinement in prison for various time periods or for a whole lifetime. The life imprisonment for
particularly grave crimes instead of death sentence allows for correction of possible justice
failures.
describe things we can do to reduce the effects of climate change

reduce its effects. The only thing we can do is to accommodate to the consequences of climate
change.
talk about whether life is riskier today than it was in the past
I believe that life is always risky either today or in the past. Some risks may decrease or
disappear over time such as risk of death from certain diseases, new risks may emerge due to
scientific progress such as industrial disasters, and some risks remain the same, e.g. natural
disasters.
