FINAL REQUIREMENT

Part 1. Business Communication

1. Write a business letter requesting for a price quotation on the following products:
a. 3 multi-functional tables, each can accommodate 4 pax
b. 12 ergonomic chairs
c. 12 study desk lamps
d. 12 desktop book stands
2. The letter is addressed to:

Chief Operations Officer
YKR Office Solutions, Inc
65 Legazpi Ave., Makati City, Philippines

3. The request is made by you, with the following designation: Head, General Services Department,
and then name your company and its address.
4. Response to the request should be made 10 days from the date of the letter.

Part 2. Memo Writing

1. Write a memo with the following details:


a. Addressed to all department heads and supervisors
b. Date of release is Oct. 12, 2020
c. Memo released by the Vice President for Operations
d. Memo is about the new COVID-19 security and safety protocols of the company
e. The meeting is scheduled on 15 October 2020 @ 10:30 A.M. at the Meeting Hall 1
f. Attendance is required

Part 3. Do the following.

2. Screen-capture your final result and save it as jpeg file
3. Write a reflection on your result whether it is true to you, somewhat true to you, or not at all
true to you. If you believe it is not at all true to you, take the assessment again and review the
items very carefully and answer them honestly. Your reflection paper must follow this structure
and answer the items in the structure.

a. Introduction – state your belief in cognitive bias.


i. Do you think cognitive biases are influencing your day-to-day interaction with
others at work and outside of work?
ii. Is knowledge of one’s cognitive bias important? Why do you think so?
b. Body Paragraph (at least 2 paragraphs)
i. What do you think of your assessment result? Is it true to you, somewhat true
to you, somewhat untrue to you, not at all true to you? Explain your answer.
ii. What other cognitive biases do you believe you have? Define and explain why
you believe you have them (provide examples).
c. Conclusion – Why is knowledge of cognitive biases important in fostering healthy and
good interpersonal communication and relationship? What is your personal realization
about cognitive biases?
