Vaccination Centres (CVC). These AFMS CVCs will be available as a choice for
vaccination of dependants of serving personnel and ECHS members after online
registration. These beneficiaries can also exercise the option of getting vaccinated at
Government or private covID Vaccination Centres and other facilities listed in the Co-WIN
app in addition to AFMS hospitals. No reimbursement is permitted
for vaccination taken in a
private empanelled or non-empanelled hospital.

4. To streamline process of registration of ECHS membersand COVID Vaccination at


designated AFMS HCFs, following directions will be followed at ECHS Polyclinics

(a) OIc ECHS PC will be responsible for preparingeligibilitycertificate in name of


eligible ECHS beneficiary as per format given in Appx 'A' in 02 copies. 01 signed
copy has to be given to service hosp (AFMS hosp) in original (No photocopy should
be accepted by service hosp). 01 copy will be kept with ECHS PC.

(b) OIC ECHS PC will prepare nominal roll of ECHS beneficiaries whom such
is issued forward it to Centres on daily basis as per format

jdmed1@[Link]) on daily basis as per format given in Appx C
The vaccines currently available with the AFMS are for HCWs and FLWs. These
6vaccines will not be utilized ab-initio for vaccination of ECHS members till such time
to be in

contact with OIC ECHs PC before going to Service Hospital.

IN AGEGP ABOVE50 YRS AND WITH CO-MORBIDITIES
1 In view of COVID-19 pandemic scenario and COVID vaccination drive which has been
started on 16 Jan 2021 initialy with Health Care Workers, then for Front Line Workers andd
subsequently likely to begin for general public in Mar / Apr 2021.
2. COVID vaccination for general public will involve people above the age of 50
years
and with co-morbidities (deemed to be in greater risk of severity).
3. Registration is required through Co-Win App in website ([Link]) for each
and every citizen of India for getting vaccinated. All the ECHS Polyclinics willact as COVID
Registration Facilitation Centres for providing assistance to senior, super senior ECHs
beneficiaries and widows who are not technology savvy in the registration process.
4 In view of the above, it is requested that following manpower may be provided to each
Polyclinic from the respective formations as and when the Co-Win App is open for general
public. The manpower provided should be capable of filling the details sought by App in
consultation with veterans who need such assistance

2. As all ECHS Polyclinics will act as COVID Registration Facilitation Centres for
providing assistance to ECHS beneficiaries, you are requested to promulgat following
directions to all Polyclinics

(a) All ECHS Polyclinics should earmark one / two computer with internet facility
which is already existing at Polyclinics for facilitating registration to ECHS
beneficiaries.

(b) OIC, ECHS Polyclinic will be responsible for training of ECHS Polyclinic staff /
DEO wrt registration process. User manual for the same is att as Appendix 'A'.
Medical Officer of ECHS Polyclinic should provide medical certificate to ECHS
(c)
beneficiaries of age group of 45 years to 59 years with co-morbidities.

3. List of co-morbidities and format of Medical Certificate are att as Appendices

4. Leftover unregistered ECHS Polyclinic Staff will also be registered under COWIN 2.0
portal as per guidelines given in Appendix 'D'.

GUIDELINES FOR COVID-19 VACCINATION OF DEPENDANTS OF SERVING PERSONNEL


AND ECHS MEMBERS IN AFMS HEALTHCARE FACILITIES

Ref this Office letter of even No. dt 24 Dec 2020.

2. Govt of India has extended COVID-19 vaccination


(Covishield and Covaxin) to include
following categories:
(a) All senior citizens of 60 years and above of 60 years
(age or more as on 01 Jan
2022).
(b) All citizens with co-morbidities between 45
years to 59 years (aged or will attain the
age of 45 years to 59 years as on 01 Jan 2022). List of the specified co-morbidities is
attached as Appx 'A.

3. Categories of beneficiaries mentioned in para 2 (a) and 2 (b) in Armed Forces will include
dependants of serving personnel and ECHS members. Vaccination for these two
conducted using Co-WIN portal at AFMS healthcare facilities which are categories will be
