PROJECT PROPOSAL

Situation
The Misamis Occidental National High School – Barkada Kontra Droga (MONHS-
BKD), is a school-based organization, born thru the Board Resolution No. 5, of the
Dangerous Drugs Board, series of 2007. This is also a response to section 42, Article IV of
RA 9165, which enjoins students’ councils and organizations to be involved in the prevention
and deterrence in the use of dangerous drugs. MONHS -BKD for the past years has been
involved in identifying high -risk students within our campus and conducted transformation
seminars and trainings to our students.

Problem
To become of great aid in the recent trust of our government to curb the drug menace
in our country especially this time of pandemic, the MONHS-BKD must step out of its walls
and encourage high school students within our city, reaching out effectively through online
platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet for the BKD Campaign Drive

Generation of Solution
The members and officers of MONHS-BKD will conduct 3-day webinar series with
the theme “Better Knowledge for a Better Care” to support awareness to our young
generation about illicit trafficking and drug abuse.

Objective:

The MONHS – Barkada Kontra Droga aims to conduct a 3-day


Webinar Series to all MONHS Grade 10 students and acquired relevant
learnings in substance use prevention and illicit trafficking to join hands in the
governments fight against illegal drugs.
Target Beneficiaries:
All Grade 10 students. A total of 1090 and will be divided into 5
batches to cater the students on the said platforms.

Target Date:
Target date will be four Fridays, and we will start on the second Friday
of the month of February of this year, but we will be patiently waiting for your
appropriate response on this humble request, at your convenience.

Estimated Budget:
Honorarium and Token for the Speakers (3) = Php 300*3= 900.00Php
Freebies/Prizes = Php 1000.00
