GRAMMAR:
Conditional Sentences / If - Clauses Type I , II and III
A. Conditional Sentence Type 1: Showing Possibility
→ It is possible and also very likely that the condition will be fulfilled.
Form: If + Simple Present >>> Future (= will + V1)
Example:
If I have much money, I will buy a new car.
If I can speak English fluently, I will work in a foreign company.
What will you do if you are bored at home?
B. Conditional Sentence Type 2 :
→ It shows impossibility/ unlikely to happen
Contrary to the fact
Form: if + Simple Past >>> Conditional (= would + V1)
Example:
If I had a couple of wings, I would fly around the world. (impossible to happen)
If there were no Corona virus, we would study together at the university.
