industries .
Herbal extract is a liquid solution of herbs and alcohol. The dried or fresh
herbs are combined with alcohol, then the solid matter is removed leaving
only the oils of the herbs mixed with the alcohol. This process is called
extraction, hence the name, herbal extract. For example an extract made
from peppermint and alcohol would be called "peppermint extract."

1. Extract starts from the raw material: the plants.
2. The Identification of a good source includes the description of areas and
type of collect, the capacity of collect, the use and not-used area and the
impact of our needs for extraction to guarantee a sustainable source.

4. Dried herbs are more common, with the risk to put out some gaseous
components and the benefit that the plant does not start to hydrolyze or
produce non needed metabolites.

Aceton, Acetic acid, Hexane

Business to Business sales and Herbal Products Market

● Region-specific segmentation of the herbal extracts market spans across North
America, Europe, Asia Pacific (APAC), and Rest-of-the-World (RoW).
● Players influencing the global herbal extracts market are Döhler GmbH
(Germany), Martin Bauer GmbH & Co. KG (Germany), Vidya Herbs (India),
Kalsec Inc. (U.S.), Organic Herb Inc. (China), Synthite Industries Ltd. (China),
Herbal Extraction Group, Inc. (China), Mountain Rose Herbs (U.S.), Starwest
Botanicals (U.S.), Jiaherb, Inc. (China), and others. Kalsec Inc. is leading the
market with 29% of the total market share, whereas, Dohler GmbH, with a 17%
share, is assuming the second spot.
● B2B sales, also known as business to business sales, refers to companies who
primarily sell products and services to businesses, rather than direct to
consumers (B2C). B2B sales typically have higher order values, longer sales
cycles and are often more complex than B2C sales.
● B2B sales has changed dramatically in recent years and the B2B sales
strategies that used to work are no longer effective.
● The B2B Industry Head at Google, many younger professionals, between ages
18 and 35, now occupy positions that give them the decision-making power in
the buying process.
● Modern buyers are highly skeptical about sales and marketing
messages they encounter.
1. According to a Forrester report, 59% of buyers prefer to do
research online instead of interacting with a sales rep because
the rep pushes a sales agenda rather than helps solve a
problem.
2. It’s no wonder that 68% of buyers prefer to interact with
salespeople who listen to their needs and provide them with
relevant information. And that 57% admitted they’d prefer to
purchase from a salesperson who “doesn’t try to apply
pressure or hassle them when following up.”
6

3. It’s also no surprise that sales teams who incorporate social

selling into their strategies tend to perform better than those
that don’t.

● Modern buyers pay a lot of attention to peer

recommendations.
1. it should come as no surprise that modern buyers
use social media, forums, and other channels to
learn more about potential solutions they evaluate.
2. Google/TNS and Ogilvy discovered that word of
mouth is the most powerful influencer in
purchasing decisions, beating other channels like a
company’s website and interaction with the vendor.

● Create a content library including all your

assets that answer the most common
questions your target audience asks at
different stages of their buying journey

● Make salespeople the spokesmen (and

women) for your brand- many B2B buyers
want to interact with salespeople who listen to
their needs and provide them with relevant
information.

● Align sales and marketing teams to work

towards the same goal.
