SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
This chapter presents the summary, conclusions and recommendations based
on the findings of the study.
SUMMARY
The study is all about the impact of study habits on academic achievement in
Grade 11 HUMSS Truthful students in Camarines Norte National High School.
Specifically it sought to answer the following questions:
1. What are the positive impacts of Study habits on Academic Achievement of Grade
11 HUMSS Truthful students of Camarines Norte National high school in terms of:
A. Time management
B. Academic Skills/ Academic performance
C. Learning
D. Personality
2. What is the negative Impacts of Study habit on Academic Achievement of Grade 11
HUMSS Truthful students of Camarines Norte National high school in terms of:
A. Time management
B. Academic Skills/Academic performance
C. Learning
D. Personality
3. What solution can be proposed to minimize the negative Impacts of Study habits on
Academic Achievement of Grade 11 HUMSS Truthful students of Camarines Norte
National high school?
The general objective of the study is to determine the Impact of the Study Habit
on Academic Achievement of Grade 11 HUMSS Truthful of Camarines Norte National
High School, this school year 2020-2021. Knowing the current situation of the students
may help to improve the method of teaching or change the study habit in many aspects.
The researchers asserted criticisms and past study that might relate into present
study. An example of this is when Jim Ryun said that “Motivation is what set you in
motion, habit is what keeps you going”. The use of these words meaning incorporating
the study into our daily habits is a way of making knowledge well internalized.
The study utilized the qualitative type of research which focuses on human
nature and discipline. The Researchers used Phenomenological Study which aims to
know the experiences of the students that might relate to their status.
The sources of the study are the adviser especially the students of grade 11
Truthful. The researchers used convenient sampling in order to determine the
appropriate respondents. From a given population size (40), the researchers got only
five respondents to represents the whole population.
The study used survey interview method that consists of fifteen different
questions for the students. After the data gathering, the researchers used Thematic
Coding Analysis in order for them to interpret the data.
