John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world
gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Explanation: The peace that Jesus promised here is not a peace we can find in the world.
Jesus never said we wouldn’t face pain or heartbreak in this life, but instead asked us not to be
afraid. We all face times of uncertainty and it’s easy to let our hearts become troubled in those
times. Jesus’ words in this verse can steady our hearts and help us focus our eyes on him.
Psalm 55:22 “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the
righteous be shaken.”
Explanation: In the middle of a complicated pregnancy, you may feel as though your whole
world has been shaken. If you’re finding it hard to go about your daily life and focus on anything
but your worry, dear friend, you’re not alone. The Lord wants us to cast our cares on him so he
can carry our burdens for us.
Psalm 112:7 “They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in
the Lord.”
Explanation: The fear of bad news is what keeps us up at night in a situation like this one. But
much like the other Bible verses for pregnancy complications, this verse draws our attention to
the truth of God’s faithfulness. As mothers, we can’t help but worry sometimes about our little
ones, but the truth is God is still in control and we have to trust the plan he has for us.
Kung may dapat pong palitan pasabi nlng para ma-edit ko agad. Thank you. Di rin ako sure sa gawa ko
