Read the passage below carefully and answer the questions that follow.
Staying healthy is important. We can be healthy if we practise the following good habits. One of the
ways is to eat a balanced diet. A balanced diet contains all the nutrients that our bodies need such as
protein, vitamins, carbohydrates, iron and calcium. Our bodies and bones need proteins to grow. Food
that is rich in protein are milk, meat, chicken, fish, eggs and beans. We should eat a variety of
vegetables and fresh fruits which contain vitamin C and fibres. Carbohydrates give us energy. We
should eat bread, rice and cereals to get energy.

We must get enough sleep. Children should get at least eight hours of sleep. Besides a balanced
diet and sleep, we also need to do exercise regularly. Regular exercise helps to build muscles and keep
the heart and lungs strong.

Finally, we must practise clean habits. We should always eat clean food and drink eight glasses
of water in a day. We should also always wash our hands before and after eating.
