Computer Uses in Daily Life

Computers are widely used in both personal and professional contexts. [1] People rely on computers for navigation, interactive displays at school, virtual reality entertainment, and wireless connectivity on college campuses. [2] However, computers can also enable problems like technological dependence when systems fail, electronic waste that is not biodegradable, and health issues from overuse or cybercrime. [3] The document then provides examples of how a secretary, publisher, bank manager, and home user utilize computers for tasks like writing, publishing, financial analysis, photo editing, and online music.

banks have to close.
 Computers produce electronic waste, plastic cases and microchips that are not
biodegradable and have to be recycled or just thrown away.
 They are responsible for health problems, e.g. computer addiction, an inappropriate
and excessive use of computers.
 Cybercrime, crime committed with the help of computers, is creating
serious problems.
 Citizens may feel a loss of privacy because of unauthorized use of personal data or
receiving unwanted electronic messages.
