Tested according to IOM Double Eccentric Flange Butterfly Valve CI. 4.1 & 4.2

SHELL TEST (CLOSE BOTH SIDE ) SEAT TEST (CLOSE ONE SIDE )
( 3 minute ) - size more than 200mm ( 3 minute ) - size more than 200mm
( 1 minute ) - size less than 200mm ( 1 minute ) - size less than 200mm
1 Open the disc to allow water flow through both side 1 Install the blind flange at one side of the BV

2 Install blind flange on booth end of BV 2 Pump the water into the BV

3 Pump the water into the BV from one side and 3 Ensure the ball valve is open when pumping
exhaust the air out of the BV from the other side water into BV

4 Close the ball valve at blind flange. Pressurize the BV 4 Close the ball valve at blind flange when
untill it goes uo to PN rating x 1.5 water is fully filled in the BV

5 Pressure holding time as table shown 5 Pressurized the BV up to PN rating x 1.1

6 There shall be no leakage at both side 6 Pressure holding time as table shown

7 There shall be no leakage at both end
