Type of the Anti-Christ.
Both when they got away from their people, they married a gentile wife, the gentile bride is always a
type of the church. And when both get back to their people, they are received by their people.
Exodus 15:1 ... the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea… Same as the anti-Christ will also be
thrown into the sea, notice her the horse is put into singular which is describing the anti-Christ himself.
The word CHURCH called out assembly. It doesn’t always refer to the BODY OF CHRIST
Ex: the church in the wilderness is not referring to the body of Christ
3 things that can be referring to church in the Bible
local gatherings of Christians: Galatians 6:2, Romans 16:5
particularity: HAVE SINS AND MAY NOT BE SAVED
the spiritual body of Christ (everyone that are saved) Ephesians 1:22, Colossians 1:18-24 (began

Verse 44; Hebrews 8:3-5 Moses on Sinai saw the heavenly tabernacle, the earthly one built in the
wilderness was a pattern of the heavenly one.
***VERSE 45: which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the
Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David. JOSHUA IS THE
SAME NAME AS JESUS
Every available Greek manuscript says JESUS none say JOSHUA. Why then would the new versions put
JOSHUA instead of jesus??? Only the King James version keeps the original JESUS
Joshua is a type of Jesus.
1. The wilderness journey ends with JESUS
2. Jesus will enter Canaan (second coming)
3. Jesus will attack a cursed city (Babylon)
4. 7 laps around Jericho and 7 trumpets
5. Jesus will divide the land for the tribes Ezekiel 48

Jew and Gentile
History of Samaritans small recap 2 Kings 17: 18

Simon: THE CRIME of simony: offering money for religious position! Comes from here acts 8:18
4 things about Simon (was Simon saved?)
-Simon believed v13 and acts 16:31
- The word perish doesn’t always mean eternal damnation, Mark4:38, 1 Corinthians 8:11, 2 Corinthians
4:16
-Simon was repenting (even saved people need to repent of sin)
-his heart was not right but Christians can all have that state also.
Look 1 Corinthians 15:1 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you,
unless ye have believed in vain.
IT IS POSSIBLE TO BELIEVE IN VAIN!
Romans 10:9-10 how to believe right?
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath
raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and
with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth
the will of my Father which is in heaven.
An Ethiopian convert to Judaism (old testament)
Dispensation: dispense a revelation
Luke 24: 45 God is the one who opens their understanding, that we may understand the scriptures.
Acts 8:37 is REMOVED FROM THE NEW VERSIONS
4 reasons why it shouldn’t be removed
-37 comes after 36
-without verse 37 the question goes unquestioned.
-without verse 37, salvation is baptism. It takes the gospel out. You must believe within your heart
before you get baptised
-verse 37 IS IN EARLY MANUSCRIPTS.
Verse 38: baptism by immersion! Went down both into the water.
Verse 39: spirit of the Lord caught away Philip just as in the rapture we will be caught away!!
Acts 9
Paul got legal permission to persecute Christians (men and women) from a long journey Damascus to
Jerusalem.
V5: kicking against the pricks that’s evidence of the holy spirit dealing with Saul. Saul was been
convicted.
Verse 6: that’s when Saul got saved : when he called JESUS, lord.
