R: This restaurant is very elegant.  Have you ever been here before, Louis and Caroline?

L: Yes, it is absolutely elegant! I am very impressed. I haven’t been here before.

C: I have been here before! My parents used to come when the family had something to celebrate.

L: That sounds great, Caroline. What did you eat here?

R: Please, give us an advice to order.

C: Of course, the food I used to order is called “Midnight”. It is delicious!

R: Cool! But what is it?

C: The name doesn’t relate to the plate, actually. It is lasagna with bread and salad. Nothing special at all, but a very
good one.

L: I don’t remember the last time I eat that, I think I’m going to order it!

R: I’m thinking in something more American, I know we are in an Italian restaurant, but they have to offer variety of
plates.  

C: Yes! If I’m not wrong they offer burgers.

L: Nothing more American than a burger, Robin.

R: That’s right, guys! Right now, a burger works perfectly for me.

L: Are you going to order lasagna, Carolina?

C: I don’t know, actually. I can taste another plate.

R: We can ask a waitress what it’s their special plate for the day.

L: Amazing! But hurry up! Or we’re going to be late for the movie tonight.

C: Oh, I just forgot it!

R: Well, let’s do this. Heyy, lady, can you come here, please?  

W: Welcome! Do you already want to order?

L: Yes, lady. Can you give me some lasagna please?

R: I want a burger, lady.

W: Excellent, they are good plates. What do you desire, lady?

C: I don’t decide yet. What is the special plate for the day?

W: For tonight, we have Spaghetti with bread. I highly recommend this typical one.

C: It sounds delicious and interesting, please, bring me one!

W: It’s a pleasure. Do you want something to drink?

L: Some beers!

R: Yes, beers!

C: I agre with you, guys!

L: Thanks, Lady!

C: Hey, Susie is coming in to the restaurant; I thought we would meet her in the cinema.

R: Maybe she is hungry as we are.

L: Susie! Sit with us, please.

S: I’ll be a pleasure, guys!

R: Do you like Italian food?

S: Oh, I love it! I’m hungry and I wanted to eat something before the movie, so I came here. It is my favorite restaurant.  

L: Great! What are you going to order?

S: Some lasagna, it’s wonderful here.

C: I told you, guys.

R: So let’s order your food and have a perfect night.

All: Yes, let’s go!

ESPAÑOL
R: Este restaurante es muy elegante. ¿Han estado aquí antes, Louis y Caroline?
L: ¡Sí, es absolutamente elegante! Estoy muy impresionada. Desafortunadamente, no he estado aquí antes.
C: ¡He estado aquí antes, chicos! Mis padres solían venir cuando la familia tenía algo que celebrar.
L: Eso suena genial, Caroline. ¿Qué comiste aquí?
R: Por favor, danos un consejo para realizar el pedido.
C: Por supuesto, la comida que solía pedir se llama "Medianoche". ¡Es delicioso!
R: ¡Genial! ¿Pero, qué es esto?
C: El nombre no se relaciona con el plato, en realidad. Es lasaña con pan y ensalada. Nada especial en
absoluto, pero muy bueno.
L: No recuerdo la última vez que comí eso, ¡creo que lo voy a pedir!
R: Estoy pensando en algo más americano, sé que estamos en un restaurante italiano, pero tienen que ofrecer
variedad de platos.
C: ¡Sí! Si no me equivoco, ofrecen hamburguesas.
L: Nada más americano que una hamburguesa, Robin.
R: ¡Eso es, chicos! En este momento, una hamburguesa me funciona perfectamente.
L: ¿Vas a pedir lasaña, Carolina?
C: No lo sé, en realidad. Puedo probar otro plato.
R: Podemos preguntarle a una mesera cuál es su plato especial para el día.
L: ¡Increíble! ¡Pero date prisa! O llegaremos tarde a la película esta noche.
C: ¡Oh, lo olvidé!
R: Bueno, hagamos esto. Oye, señora, ¿puede venir aquí, por favor?
W: ¡Bienvenidos! ¿Ya quieres hacer un pedido?
L: Sí, señora. ¿Me puedes dar un poco de lasaña por favor?
R: Quiero una hamburguesa, señora.
W: Excelente, son buenos platos. ¿Qué desea, señora?
C: Todavía no lo decido. ¿Cuál es el plato especial del día?
W: Para esta noche, tenemos espaguetis con pan. Recomiendo ampliamente este típico.
C: Suena delicioso e interesante, por favor, ¡tráeme uno!
W: Es un placer. ¿Quieres algo para beber?
L: ¡Algunas cervezas!
R: ¡Sí, cervezas!
C: ¡Estoy de acuerdo con ustedes, chicos!
W: ¡Perfecto! Traeré sus pedidos antes.
L: ¡Gracias, señora!
C: Oye, Susie va a entrar al restaurante; Pensé que la encontraríamos en el cine.
R: Tal vez ella tenga hambre como nosotros.
L: ¡Susie! Siéntate con nosotros, por favor.
S: ¡Seré un placer, chicos!
R: ¿Te gusta la comida italiana?
S: ¡Oh, me encanta! Tengo hambre y quería comer algo antes de la película, así que vine aquí. Es mi
restaurante favorito.
L: ¡Genial! ¿Que vas a ordenar?
S: Un poco de lasaña, es maravilloso aquí.
C: Ya les dije, chicos.
R: Así que pidamos su comida y tengamos una noche perfecta.

Waitress: Hello, my name is Linda and I´ll be your waitress today. Can I get you anything?

Laura: Oh, no thanks. We are waiting for someone else.

Peter: Hello, girls! Sorry I´m a little late

Laura: Don´t you worry! How are you?

Peter: Great! Working a lot and also having fun

Tania: Oh, yeah! I saw on Facebook that you went to Italy last month

Peter: Yeah! It was work related, but I also found the time to have fun and get to now the city a little.

Laura: Do you guys wanna order now?

Peter: Yes, I am starving. I haven eaten anything since yesterday´s dinner

Tania: Excuse me, Miss. Can you take the order now?

Waitress: Of course. What do yo want to drink

Peter: I would like lemonade, please

Laura: I want a soda, please.

Peter: But Laura, tell my about your kids, I can´t believe I haven´t met them yet.

Tania: They drive Laura a little bit crazy

Tania: Thank you very much. Do you guys want to order or do you want to wait a little?

Peter: No, I would prefer to order now

Tania: Muchas gracias, ¿ya quieren ordenar o quieren esperar un poco más?

Peter: No, preferiría ordenar ya.

Mesera: Muy bien, ¿qué puedo traerles?

Peter: Yo quiero un club sándwich, por favor.

Tania: Para mí un filete de pescado.

Laura: Yo sólo quiero una ensalada, por favor.
