NURTURING
ENGAGEMENT
National Sales Conference

Since SERDIA’s inception, the annual National Sales

Conference (NSC) has always been one of the biggest
events of the year. The NSC usually is a 5-day event,
hosted at a domestic or international location, with
most employees in attendance.

Being a mega event, it involves a massive

collaborative effort of employees from all departments,
with meticulous planning to ensure a smooth
implementation of all aspects of the event – travel,
accommodation, logistics, ground transportation,
meals, multiple meeting rooms, branding,
team-building activities and recreation.

The main aim of the NSC is to analyse the sales performance of the year gone by, to set goals for the upcoming
year and impart training on ways to achieve these goals. Alongside the business agenda, Serdia does not miss
the opportunity to include some team-building and recreational activities.

The NSC is also a good platform to celebrate successes

and to honour the dedication and long-service of its
employees. During the Performance Awards
ceremony at the NSC, all the top performers of that
year are called up on stage and presented with
medals and trophies by the top leadership team, for
various categories of achievements. The most sought
after award is the SERDIA Rolling Trophy which is
awarded to the best-performing region This public
recognition bestowed upon high-performing
employees & teams, is a great source of inspiration
propelling all teams to aspire for these coveted
accolades.

Another public awards ceremony is the presentation of Long Service Awards during the NSC. SERDIA celebrates
long term associations with its employees in an inspiring fashion by publicly acknowledging tenure, thus reflecting
its values of going beyond an employee-employer relationship and making the employee feel like a part of the
SERDIA family. The Long Service Awards are presented
in a glittering ceremony, during which each recipient
gets a medal and certificate, which are presented to
employees who have completed a tenure of 5+ years,
in increments of every 5 years and beyond (example,
5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 years).

The NSC concludes with a gala dinner, where

Serdians let their hair down and celebrate the
successful conclusion of the event with free-flowing
food and drink, accompanied by song, dance and
revelry.

Being the most-looked forward to event of the year,

even during the 2020 pandemic, SERDIA ensured to conduct this event digitally, while including all elements of
a normal NSC. In fact, the gala closing event was a show-stopper broadcasting the Serdia’s Got Talent show,
which showcase the latent talents Serdians and was a source of great entertainment for all fellow Serdians
watching.

part of our ongoing thrust to widen the scope of
interactions between management and employees, at
all levels, be it rank or file. We hope to create more
platforms and opportunities for employees to opine,
drop feedbacks or discuss what they have in mind. We
practice the open office culture, so as to allow
uninhibited dialogues. With every passing day, we
strive to communicate better with our employees and
continue to be more and more open to dialogues in all
forms.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Servier has always been involved in philanthropic initiatives in France and other countries of operation. The Group’s
involvement in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) actions worldwide are directly inscribed in its vocation. This mission to
care through our actions was materialized by the launch of the Mécénat Servier Charity Fund in November 2016. The Fund’s
goal is to promote and take part in community-interest activities or projects, both directly and indirectly, in France and around
the world, for actions that align with our Group’s values - Commit to Succeed, Dare to Innovate, Grow by Sharing and Care.

Mécénat Servier
Mécénat Servier is particularly committed to supporting projects and actions in
the areas of Healthcare, Education, Living Together, Culture. This spirit of social
responsibility is very much reflected in the day-to-day life and work of
SERDIANS. In 2020, Mécénat Servier had launched the Solidarity Leave -
Local to Local pilot project for SERDIA in India, in partnership with Planète
Urgence, an NGO dedicated to international solidarity, sustainable local
development and environmental conservation. Their Mission is to allow
everyone to be active in the
development of their community through their Volunteer and Environment &
Development Programs, by participating in a hands-on missionary project.
At Serdia, one employee was shortlisted in order to pursue a project site that was
based in Pondicherry. The Mission in “People Social Development Foundation”,
was “Training in Microsoft Excel and Word for women’s leaders groups”
At Serdia, we endeavour to walk in the footsteps of Servier and create meaningful
engagement opportunities for our employees through our CSR initiatives, while
creating a positive footprint for the NGOs we support. Serdia supports several CSR
activities which make a difference to the lives of the deprived sections of society.

Serdia has been consistently supporting the following NGOs – charitable contributions made by Serdia under the CSR
Activity.

Reality Gives
REALITY GIVES, an NGO working
towards providing quality education in
English medium for under-privileged
children in Dharavi. Apart from monetary
assistance, Serdia has organised field
visits for its employees to the Royal City
School in Dharavi, allowing meaningful
interactions with the students and faculty.
In December 2019, a group of 40 students
from the Royal City School, along with a
few faculty, were invited to visit the Serdia
head office in BKC. This was a first-ever
kind of thrilling experience for the school
kids to visit not only the BKC business
district, but also a very state-of-the-art
MNC office, where they were given a
simplistic tour of the functioning of all
departments. For Serdians, it was
immensely satisfying to have the little kids
over and watch them display their
knowledge and talents through their
innovative skits.
Gift
GIFT (Girls Inspired For Tomorrow), which
works for the education of underprivileged
girls while providing them with lunch and
shelter during the day. We, at Serdia,
believe in empowering the girl child, and
ensuring that all initiatives are directed
towards a unifying goal of giving every
child a dignified life by providing financial
support towards their betterment and a
brighter tomorrow.
