My name is Husnain Ishfaq, and I am 22 years old.
I have recently completed my Bachelor’s
degree in Management from the University of the Punjab. I am writing this letter to apply for
Masters in Business Management at Sapienza University of Rome for the 2022 autumn intake.
This program is a solid step towards my future career as a businessperson who understands and
appreciates science and technology. Also, I would like to inform you that I love to interact with
students from different countries, and many of my friends are studying abroad as well.
I have an ardent desire to study abroad and interact with international students to broaden my
mindset and to sharpen my intellect. I am very keen to study in University of Padua as it offers
numerous opportunities and professional courses for international students. Moreover, the lack of
suitable courses in my own country is making me take this important decision in my life.
In September 2021, I earned a Bachelor degree with a specialization in Public management from
University of the Punjab in the City of Lahore. Benefiting from the broad nature of public
management, I have been exposed to an extensive range of subjects from management to law.
Having studied the specialized courses, I have acquired the essential skills of systematic
research, analytical thinking and information evaluation. Most prominently, they provided me
with insight into public management combining with Law.
Apart from my studies, I also did internship in corporate fleet sales for six weeks at Toyota Azad
Motors (Mirpur). I learned a lot there. To answer customer questions and resolve service issues
in a timely manner, keeping records of daily sales, diagnosing customer issues by asking probing
questions and writing up repair orders, ordering supplies and keeping inventory at optimal levels,
coordinating equipment repairs and maintenance were my tasks there.
During my Bachelor’s I also worked as WordPress Web developer and social media manager at
Digital Agency Up for almost two years. There my duty was to manage social media platforms
of company, and to make wordpress websites for our customers. There I had made 150+
websites. I also have a skill of logo design and sometimes I also made logos for customers there.
Working there with very supportive staff was very wonderful experience for me.
There are four key reasons why I want to study at this program. First, I selected your program
because of its primary focus on business with the expectation that students already possess a
strong understanding of management. Second, I want to improve my research work in the field
of business and management. Third, I wish to grow to be a manager who can combine the
science of technology with the art of management.
Also, I would like to inform you that I have been a part of University cricket team for four years.
Our team also won cricket tournament at university level and I received a gold medal for best
batsman of the tournament. I am sending you my academic details in the CV attached with
relevant documents in this letter. I am hopeful that my experience and skill-set would prove to be
apt for this course.
