(2.0 SAFETY. + Close the valves before install the components. * All hydraulic hose must be fit properly. 3.0 THEORY [3 marks] 4.0 PART AND EQUIPMENT + Hydraulic trainer set. + 4/3 way directional control valve * Hydraulic cylinder / hydraulic motor + Pressure relief valve + Pressure gauge + Hydraulic hoses 5.0 PRACTICAL SECTION 5:1 Controlting Hydraulic Cylinder using basic hydraulic circuit Procedure Assemble the hydraulic circuit as shown in FIGURE 1 according to the folowing steps: = connect IN port of the directional control valve to Pressure manifold. = connect Port A to cylinder rod end, connect Port 8 to cylinder cap end. = connect OUT port of directional control valve to Tank manifold. «Shift the directional control valve handle to left and right direction and observe the cylinder extension and retraction.
