Narrative Report on Parent Mentoring

Parents on the mountains said to be innocent and uninformed specially

those who are from far-flung area where there is no electricity and television.

They were unaware of the news and norms of the other cultures. And they

were unconscious on how to raise their child properly since they don’t have

anyone to look up to.

Danao Integrated School suggested and agreed to have a parent

mentoring for the purpose of helping the parents of the community to be

educated in rearing their children. The proper care they need.

Ma’am Roselyn O. Maglinao one of the teacher of the school is asked to

be the speaker of the said program. She willingly prepared and mentor

parents who were willing to be educated.

November 13, 2018 dated as a day to mentor them. Parents were

attentively listened to every detail the speaker shared to them. At the end of

the event the proponents were learned and informed the proper care and as I

pobserve the parent’s faces as they leave the area were fascinated by the

things they learned. And I can see that the event was successful.
