PRACTICE SCHOOL – NIST Berhampur – Final Year ENGINEERING PROJECT BRIEF (2.5 Months)
• Submitted a project report titled “Implementation of DCT for Image Compression using VHDL”
under the guidance of Mr. N. Srinivasu and Dr. S.K. Meher, Prof. in DSP. My project aims at discussing
the need for effective and standardized image compression techniques. The rapid growth of digital
imaging application has increased the need for effective and standardized image compression techniques.
By implementing of DCT, the emerging standard for compression of still images, motion videos (JPEG
and MPEG), Video Telephony and Tele-conferencing can be acquired effectively.
Summer Training – NIST Berhampur – Second Year ENGINEERING PROJECT BRIEF (3 Months)
• Submitted a project report titled “Radio Networking Terminal” under the guidance of Mr. Niranjan
Das, Asst. Engg., and Radio Station Berhampur. My project aims at discussing the use of ‘Radio
Networking’ through INSAT satellites in order to link Delhi AIR Station and Regional AIR Stations with
other local AIR stations. It is not only cost effective but also provides good technical quality as compared
to DOT lines and SVV linkage.
ONE YEAR WORKSHOP IN ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION
ENGINEERING TRAINING: One year Industrial Training in SNTI, TATA STEEL, Jamshedpur.
(Full time course) including Industrial workshop.
The Technical training Program included the following modules Induction, Socializing and Safety,
Bench Fitting, Mechanical Assembly Practice, Electronics, Welding and Gas Cutting, In-plant
