Assignment Overview Article About: PRINCIPLES OF CHRISTIAN PHILOSOPHY

Author: Tety & Soeparwata Wiraatmadja, studying at the Getasan School of Theology
Sangkakala College campus, Kab. Semarang Jl. Raya Salatiga-Kopeng Km 7 Po. Box.
777 Salatiga 507030, E-mail: Pelangikasih14@[Link] The goal is to understand and
explore the principles of Christian education, thereby creating happiness in the family and
community and progress together, especially for the Glory of God. We often hear about
education in our environment, even wherever we are, education always goes with us, starting
from when we were small we have been taught about education, through parents, teachers and
lecturers. Because education is an effort made by adults to help a child who is not yet an adult,
guide, guide and direct him to achieve maturity or independence. While in Christian education
we are taught to be centered on God and also how we have implications and interpretations of
God's love. Christian education also uses a theistic philosophy based on the truth of God's word
which is clearly different from the philosophy of secular education. In this philosophy of
Christian education, there are several principles that we can see through articles written by Tety
& Soeparwata Wiraatmadja, one of which is that the human Holy Spirit can emit the light of
Christ. That is why the Philosophy of Christian Education seeks to point towards a renewal of
life that is in accordance with love, justice, the welfare of the people, the entire universe and for
the glory of God. We can use these principles as a reference for good thinking and acting in
teaching and educating those around us as in the book of Deuteronomy 6:7 You must teach it
over and over again to your children and talk about it when you sit down. your house, when you
are on your way, when you lie down, and when you wake up. We can know some important
things in teaching and educating those around us, namely by drawing closer to God and
deepening his word, she can be a true example for many people. In my opinion, from the articles
that I read in overall it is quite good, interesting, and easy to understand by readers. However,
there is a drawback, namely that there are still many words that are not in accordance with the
EYD and KBBI. As in principle number 5 (which focuses on being developed according to the
will of Allah) it is better that one that is centered and developed according to the will of Allah.

Conclusion: From time immemorial education has been in our lives, and the one who became
our teacher was Jesus himself, but after we fell into sin, our parents and lecturers became our
teachers. But God always teaches us through His words as written in Deuteronomy 6:7 God
keeps reminding us over and over again. And the philosophy of Christian education is the root
of education that functions as an analysis of problems and solving problems that we face.
