To accomplish activities that develop learner’s love for reading
To promote awareness on the importance of reading.

J. NARRATIVE REPORT

Every year we celebrate the Reading Month to develop and promote love for reading to
the learners. Reading is an integral part of learning. It serves as the way for better understanding of the
lessons in every subject area that is why we give importance in the reading enhancement of every
learners. To promote love for reading, I, as the school coordinator, initiated a program and activities
for every grade level to actively participate.

Ever Grade level teachers prepared reading materials such as poem and story to be read
by the learners orally with the help of their parents by taking their videos while reading the printed
materials and send them to their respected group chat and the adviser will decide for the top 3 best oral
readers among the sent videos of the learners.

We also conducted the contest for slogan making and poster making to elaborate their
ideas on the importance of reading even in these trying times of Pandemic. Every teacher searched for
the top 3 Best in poster and slogan making.

At the last Friday of the month of November we come up with the winners and awarded
them with ribbons and certificates signed by the reading coordinator and the principal.

The learners enjoyed the activities and was able to develop their love for reading by
performing the task given to them with enthusiasm.
