BDDRMC Resolution

The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Malonoy, Villareal, Samar met on June 23, 2021. A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REALIGNMENT OF VARIOUS PROGRAMS, PROJECT,


ACTIVITY OF THE 5% BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT
FUND TO ADDRESS THE RISING POSITIVE CASE OF COVID 19 IN THE LOCALITY TO
REDUCE NEGATIVE IMPACTS, ENSURE PUBLIC SAFETY AND MEET THE BASIC
SUBSISTENCE OF THE PEOPLE AFFFECTED BY THE SAID PANDEMIC.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Republic Act No. 10121, also known as “Philippine Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Act of 2010”. The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Fund
(BDRRMF) shall be prepared and submit to the Sangguniang Barangay through the Barangay Disaster
Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) and the Barangay Development Council the
BDRRMF.

WHEREAS, in order for the local government unit to address the rising positive cases of Covid
19 in the locality, a realignment of the said fund is necessary to reduce the negative impacts, ensure
public safety and meet the basic subsistence of the people affected.

NOW, THEREFORE, On motion of Hon. Francisca A. Libril. Duly seconded by Hon. Danilo
Q. Tordillos, be it.
Resolved as it is hereby resolved, by the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Council in meeting assembled, to approve and endorse to the Sangguniang Barangay for their Final
Approval.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to the office concerned for their
information and guidance.

Approved and Adopted: June 23, 2021.
