INTRODUCTION:
This case study analysis requires the student to submit a write-up of a case study on
organization management. It will equip the student with critical and analytical thinking in
managing of organization. The case study analysis shall include knowledge and critical
thinking acquired from this module. Case study presentation require 15 minutes for
students to present the case. Each presentation shall be within 15-20 minutes.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
On completing the assignment the student will be able to:-
1. Explain the process in which an individual works and functions in an organization.
2. Identify the strategies to enable health personnel to adapt into organisation.
3. Discuss better work related understanding about fulfilling human need at work.
4. Demonstrate critical evaluative approach, reflective thoughts and evidence-based
decisions about strategic management that underpins present day healthcare
practice.
PART 1: WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT (CASE STUDY WRITE-UP). INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
1. This is a group case study analysis. Each group is required to choose a case related to
Strategic Management.
2. Write up the case study, using the format below:
2.1. Title page should contain the following:
a. Name of the College
b. Module Code & Name
c. Topic of the assignment
d. Name & Matrix number of the student
e. Name of supervisor
f. Date of submission
2.2. Assignment must be type written and adhere to the following:-
a. A4 size white paper.
b. Font Arial, size 12.
c. Line spacing 1.5

d. Comb binding.
e. Provide reference using the American Psychological Association (APA) format.
f. References should be latest (year 2011 onwards).
3. How to Write a Case Study Paper. In order to write a case study paper, you must
carefully address a number of sections in a specific order with specific information
contained in each. The recommended framework/ headings are as below:

3.3 Section 3: Discussion
3.4 Section 4: Conclusion
3.5 Section 5: References
4. Submit a hardcopy of the write-up to the identified assessor on or before the last
working day of the 21st week of Academic Calender (During Field Placement 1).
5. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Any reproduction from other publications should be
properly referenced. If plagiarism is detected, the assignment will be rejected and a fail
grade shall be given. The student shall be required to redo it within the stated
timeframe.
6. Minimum citation is five (5).
7. The assignment should be between 1000 – 1500 words. Word count is not inclusive of
title page and references.
PART 2: POWERPOINT SLIDES AND PRESENTATION
Based on your report in Part 1, you need to comply to the following:
Prepare PowerPoint slides between 8 and 10 slides only.
Present your slides in front of your tutor and peers during tutorial classes.
Case study presentation required 15 minutes for student to present the case. Each
presentation shall be within 15-20 minutes.
