Business QUIZ

DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT STUDIES


RULES & REGULATIONS

Event Description:
Business quiz is the game of question and answer. This game is to judge the knowledge of the
participants towards the industries, companies, and product. It also intends to judge the awareness of
participants about business- and business-related areas.

General Guidelines:

1. Participation in the form of team only.


2. A team shall consist of 3 OR 4 members only.
3. The team has to complete the Registration process to be eligible for the QUIZ round.
4. Replacement of any participant of a team is not allow at the time of business quiz.
5. There are no restrictions on the number of teams from a Department of Management studies.
6. In case of a tie during the qualifying written round between teams, they would be required to
answer 10 more questions (written mode) within 5 mins.
7. teams qualifying in the top 2 round, shall proceed to the Final round.
8. Quiz will commence with qualifying quiz round followed by subsequent rounds as mentioned
below.
• Round I - SHUBHARAMBH

• Round II - PEHCHANO TO JAANE

• Round III – DEKHO AUR BATAO

• Round IV – WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT


9. The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or any electronic device, during any stages of
the Quiz.
10. The decision of the Judges will be final and Binding.

QUIZ STAGES:

ROUND 1: SUBHARAMBH

• Each Team will be asked 4 Questions.

• Each Question will carry 10 Marks.

• This is not a passable round.

• Each correct answer carries 10 marks and for wrong answers 5 marks will be deducted.
ROUND 2: PEHCHANO TO JAANE
• In this round 3 pictures will be shown to each Team.

• They have to identify the personality, logo or product.

• This is a passable round and carries negative marking.

• Each correct answer carries 10 marks and for wrong answers 5 marks will be deducted.

• Bonus 5 marks will be given to the team for each right answer to the passed question.

Round 3: DEKHO AUR BATAO

• In this round 3 tag line/punch line will be shown to each Team.

• They have to identify the punch line companies/industry name.

• This is a passable round and carries negative marking.

• Each correct answer carries 10 marks and for wrong answers 5 marks will be deducted.

• Bonus 5 marks will be given to the team for each right answer to the passed question.

• If the Team does not want to answer a question, it has to loudly say “PASS” and the
next question will be

Round 4: WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT


• Winner announces by the business quiz judge after completing of all 3 rounds.
• Which team have a higher mark will win.
• Judges announce the name of winning team and runner up team.
