EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
THE COMPANY AND MANAGEMENT
Two Diamonds Farm and Trucking Services is a business that is located in Maramag,
Bukidnon, which provides trucking and logistics services owned by Victoriano Aloba Jr. And
Esterlita C. Aloba. Their first business was farming, and later on received a truck from their in-
laws, which enabled them to begin the trucking business that offers delivery services of any
kind, such as agricultural productions, food supplies and so on, anywhere in the places of
Mindanao. The owners started with one truck, and after eight years in the service industry,
they currently have five trucks in total.
Market Opportunities
The trucking business is very much in need of the e-commerce industry because
without it, especially in today’s generation, all businesses will be paralyzed. Trucking makes
transferring goods from one location to another much easier, faster and more convenient.
These massive vehicles are responsible for our food, medicine, clothing and everything else
we ever need and touched aside from the the soil on the ground. Thus, a lot of opportunities
are waiting for the trucking industry because they have everything we could ever want and
need.
Competitive Advantages
While there are other businesses offering trucking services, having and knowing
many of the local leaders, business managers and other influencers within Cagayan de Oro,
Bukidnon, General Santos, and Davao helped this business develop a more extensive client
base.
Financial Projection
For the time being, it should be noted that we are in the midst of pandemic, so
keeping the given data and situations realistic is more reliable. As a result, some variables
retain their value, with no increases or decreases. In addition, a projection was made, and it
showed that income increases 4% per year, and it should have 437 clients per year to make a
break-even analysis.
DESCRIPTION OF VENTURE
Two Diamonds Farm and Trucking Services is a company owned by Victoriano
Aloba Jr. And Esterlista C. Aloba which offers trucking and logistics services to
different points in Mindanao specifically from Cagayan de Oro to Gensan or Davao
and vice versa. The business is currently based in Maramag, Bukidnon. The trucking
services deliver different kind of products such as cassava, rice grains, junkfoods or
any products requested by the clients.
PRODUCT/SERVICE
The Trucking Company is a business which offers delivery services of any goods,
may it be agricultural products, food supplies, etc in any places around Mindanao.
INDUSTRY
The Trucking Services is under the Service Industry itself which provides delivery
services using tractor-trailers to customers which are usually commercial businesses
such as Liwayway Corporation. However, Two Diamonds Farm & Trucking Services
also cater the needs of delivering agricultural products of farmers such as cassava and
rice grains to any point of destination.
MISSION AND VISION
Mission
“To provide trucking services to our customer safely and efficiently by doing business
through honesty, safety, integrity, and business ethics to deliver the goods in the given
time in safe conditions despite any circumstances.”
Vision
“To expand our operation all throughout the country as one of the safest, reliable,
and successful trucking services.”
BUSINESS MODEL
The lack of understanding that family business ownership entails a series of
decisions is likely the most common – and dangerous – misunderstanding in the field
of family business. A business model is the company’s core strategy for making profit
doing business, so choosing the type of venture for the company is important.
Two Diamonds Farm and Trucking Services choose to use one of the most common
business model which is the Business-to-Business model (B2B). They earn through
making contractual agreement to firms and businesses in which they provide their
service through transporting goods from one place to another. These contracts are
often temporary and only in a fixed duration. They are also paid through commissions
based on the transported goods’ weight and the location distance of the transports.
FUTURE OUTLOOK AND TRENDS
Two Diamond Farm and Trucking Services aim to expand its operation within every
region in Mindanao. With satisfactory business performance, the business owners aim
to operate nationally in which they will be one of the safest, reliable and successful
transport businesses in the country.
The trend to trucking business access is currently needed in the growth of the e-
commerce industry since it cannot function without the help of the trucking industry.
This industry depends on truckers to get their goods from one place to another, which
means that improvements in the e-commerce industry will lead to improvements
within the trucking industry thus Two Diamonds Farm and Trucking Services are
equipped for the future.

INDUSTRY AND MARKET FORECASTS
The boom in the global logistics market has reached USD 6.6 trillion (as of 4Q 2019)
which is forecasted to increase at 4.5% annually until 2024. According to research
and analysis conducted by The Lobien Realty Group (LRG), one of the Philippines'
fastest growing real estate consultant firms, the influence and impact of logistics on a
nation's economy has never been more significant than it is now. Logistics is a key
driver of a country's and a company's competitiveness, which is essential for job
creation and economic progress. Further, increases in fuel prices positively affect the
industry as revenue typically increases in line with fuel costs, as operators are
dependent on fuel surcharge revenue. Higher manufacturing output and commodity
prices have also presented another opportunity for operators.
Over the next five years, recovering manufacturing activity and greater retail spending
are expected to ensure higher freight volumes for the Trucking industry, as retail
inventory expands to satisfy growing consumer spending.
Further, rising trade volumes will likely increase shipments, requiring more trucking
companies to move goods. These improvements are partially noted in the rise of the
freight transportation services index, which is expected to increase at an annualized
rate of 3.3%.

B. PRODUCT OR SERVICE
Two Diamond Farm and Trucking Service is a business venture that is
under the agricultural and transportation sector. Their business primarily
focused on their trucking services wherein they deliver goods, such as feed
mill and junk food products, from the suppliers to their respective customers
throughout Mindanao. Furthermore, they also provide backload services, in
which they transport and deliver goods, such as fruits and vegetables, to their
desired destination on their way back to their headquarters.
C. PRICING
Two Diamond Farm and Trucking Service provide reasonable prices to
their customers. Their rates are not fixed as this varies depending on the
destination and product weight of the type of transportation service they
provide. Their rate for cargo is determined by the distance between the entry
point and the desired destination for delivery. Thus, the further the delivery
locations are, the higher the truck rate. Moreover, for their backload services,
the weight of the products, such as fruits and vegetables, is considered to
determine the rate. The heavier the goods are, the higher the delivery price.
D. DISTRIBUTION
Two Diamond Farm and Trucking Services served as the middle man
towards manufacturers to its end users. Hence, the service of transporting
goods to customers or Logistics and an industrial distributor is their primary
distribution channel, where they ensure the quality service of transporting
goods in good condition, safe, and time-bound delivery. Moreover, regarding
their farming, they utilize two distribution channels to apply direct and selling
with its intermediaries. With the situation right now, they direct sell to manage
cost and have also been into a brick-and-mortar approach. They also practice
an indirect channel of distribution where they partner bulk buyers or
wholesalers.

when it comes to promoting their products and services. They only use
recommendations and referrals, as well as word of mouth, to promote their
business. The secret recipe for their growing business is having loyal

employee and employee-employer relationships. Because they are known to
provide high-quality products and services, their businesses are able to survive

demand of the services based on the past and future customer’s preferences,
customer’s willingness to acquire the service, customer’s income, customer’s
expectation, and service pricing.
Customer’s Preference
The quality of service in which the service should be done promptly and on
time.

It should be noted that only a customer can acquire the service if they have the
capacity to purchase such.
Service Pricing
Since this is a service type of business, the pricing depends on how far the
goods will be delivered and the type goods that will be delivered.
Customer’s Expectation
The willingness of a customer to acquire the service reflects to their
expectation on how their goods will be delivered. Moreover, it should be noted
that the business focuses on the quality of service that the business can give to
the customer and the partnered corporations.
OUTBOUND LOGISTICS
Two Diamond Trucking Services mainly focused on delivering goods from their
partnered corporations and individuals to its target customers/consumers. The
pricing for this type of service depends on how far the plantation of the
corporation to the customer in different places and also by the type of goods that
is needed to be delivered. Improving this type of business also depends on how
the owner seeks and foresee what the business will be in the future. Upgrading the
needed equipment, such as trucks and maintaining its good condition to prevent
future accidents in roads which causes delay in deliveries and harm to the
employees.

and Zamboanga. Vehicles that will be used will be checked before sending it to
the client's location. Instances wherein there is a delay of delivery, the logistics in-
charge will be contacted immediately.
SERVICE MONITORING
Logistics and transportation are two very important parts of transportation and
distribution services, and they are different. Transportation is the movement of
goods and logistics is the management of the inward and outward transportation of
goods from the manufacturer to the end user. These terms are often used
interchangeably, but they are two extremely different part of the supply chain.
Logistics and transportation deals with getting products and services from one
location to another. Although logistics and transportation are used
interchangeability, the differences are simply logistics deals with the integration
of storage, transportation, cataloging, handling, and packaging of goods.
Transportation deals with the function of moving products from one location to
another.
Logistics
Logistics is obtaining, producing, and distributing materials and products in the
right qualities and to an end user. Logistics includes the science of planning for
managing and implementing procedures for the most efficient and effective
storage and transportation of goods and services. Services and other information
from the source point to the consumer is sent through logistics channels to meet
and fulfill customer needs. Logistics has added benefits and functions that are
different from transportation services. Logistics managers need to make decisions
based on packaging, containerization, documentation, and insurance, storage,
importing and exporting, regulations, and freight damage. They also deal with
work and collaborating, claims, managing vendors and partners, and risk
mitigation.
Transportation Services
Efficient transportation is important to the survival of a transportation and
distribution service. Efficient transportation should be analyzed for the best
delivery route, as well as cost-effective packaging that ensures low investment and
safety of goods. When planning the shipment process, the method of
transportation is a significant consideration. You need to determine the costs, how
important is it to get the shipment to the end user in what period, the value of the
goods as well as the size and weight of the goods.
Our Logistics Monitoring solution offers a number of different uses to match the
business needs in order to grow.
Delivery Check:
