1. What do you think is the role of culture in moral develop?

I think the role of culture influences the moral development of a person. Like for example if that
person born and raise in a province where in the norms are a bit out dated the belief of that
person is somehow related in that place however if a person born and raised in the city it also
influences the moral development of that person the way she sees and views it.
2. Consider your culture. What beliefs, attitudes and behaviors have you adopted from your
culture?
Since a child there are a lot of beliefs that was influence me like when I got my 1 st menstrual
period I should sit on the 1st 3rd row of the stairs just to have 3 days period and also I’m not
allowed to have citrus fruits and vinegar because the color of my period will turns to black. And
if we are talking about attitude and behavior I shouldn’t speak higher tone to olds and also if
there are guess we need to be hospitable at all times, and these are some that I have adopted
that later on influences my own family now.
3. How would you change it? What are you doing to improve it?
I won’t be changing any of it because it’s our beliefs and I consider it a helpful influence me as a
person but I consider on upgrading it since were living in technologies now. For the upgrade we
get there when the time comes.
4. What is the connection between culture and morality?
Culture describes a collective way of life or way of doing things. It is the totality of attitudes,
values, and practices, shared by individuals. Culture often reflects the moral beliefs and
standards of a person that is also reflected in his/her way of professional engagement. That
holds that morality is relative to the norms of one's culture. That is, whether an action is right or
wrong depends on the moral norms of the society in which it is practiced.
