Tenancy Agreement Between Landlord and Tenant

This tenancy agreement is between Dickson Abok, the landlord, and Evans Okello, the tenant. It grants Evans Okello lease of a property (kibanda) starting November 1st, 2022 in exchange for renovations costing an amount. The tenant will pay monthly rent with a deduction until the renovation costs are paid off. The interior renovated by the tenant remains their property. The landlord agrees to let the tenant peacefully occupy the premises as long as rent is paid. Any disputes will be settled in court.

TENANCY AGREEMENT

The landlord DICKSON ABOK of ID No. 24100224, Phone No. +254728607174 in


Nairobi and the Tenant EVANS OKELLO of ID No. 30993160, Phone No.
+254723968056 in Nairobi hereby agree as follows:

1. The landlord shall grant and the tenant shall accept a lease of if this property
(Kibanda) commencing on 1st November 2022 in consideration of the total
renovation of Kshs.________________

2. The tenant shall pay the landlord total rent of Kshs _____________every month
with a deduction of Kshs __________________

3. Due to the tenant shop renovations that costed Ksh _______________ as


attached herein, the landlord has agreed that the rent shall be paid with less
of Ksh________________ every month until the amount used for renovation by
the tenant is fully paid or the landlord to pay the amount in full, failure to
which may lead to termination of the contract.

4. The interior which includes, tiles, plywoods, table and woods that were used
during renovation, remains to be the property of the tenant unless any
changes are made in future.

5. To permit the tenant to peacefully hold and enjoy the premises during the
said term without any interruptions by the landlord or any other person as
long as I continue to pay rent.

6. Any difference or dispute arising out of the agreement shall be determined by


a court of law.
