Competency a. To celebrate in the national culminating celebration of the
World Teachers Day
Rationale and Description
Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation NO. 242, s. 2011 declaring the
period from 05 September to 05 October of every year as “National
Teacher’s Month” and Republic Act No. 10743 or an Act declaring the
Fifth Day of October Every Year as the National Teacher’s Day, a
school-based celebration is a must to be conducted.
The Department of Education (DepEd) values the major role of the
teachers in filling up the minds of the learners. As such the student
appreciates the job made by our teachers through a bit of ways of
preparing a simple celebration for them.
Now on its approaching month, the office of the student
government will be sponsoring series of activities. Anent to this, the
school will conduct its annual celebration every 5th day of October. This
activity is to celebrate and give gratitude to the working force of
Balagunan National High School who served as the back bone of the
schools’ education.It signifies the important role of education in our life.
Apparently, we were now facing an abrupt shift in the educational system
making it more difficult in transporting learning to our learners.
Further, to realize those objectives, the teachers spearheaded by
the SSG together with the BNHS Faculty Club will prepare a one day
activity which will be participated by the teachers, students and external
stakeholders on October 5, 2022. Aside from merely watching the
program, the learners are encouraged to engage and took part in the
various activity. At the end of the activity, an evaluation is expected
which will be done through google forms.
Lastly, the teachers in spite of their ethnicity, historical
background, gender, socio-economic status and physical condition are
given equal opportunities and treatment in this program.
