Yes or No, and why?
Answer: Yes, Rizal family had a simple, contented and happy life. Today many Filipinos is like Rizal before
the closeness of Filipino Family today and before never change the time and year pass but on how the
Filipino family treated their loved one’s never change because Filipino people is a family oriented. Family
is our strength and weakness.

1. Explain how Rizal considered as one of the world’s geniuses?
Answer: Rizal considered as one of the world’s geniuses because he the only Filipino in the nineteenth
century who spoke fluently and wrote lucidly in no less than 20 languages. The achievements that he
always got in his school year is insane, he wrote two masterpiece novels, he visited no less than 30
countries, he also wrote more than 100 essays and more than 50 poems.
2. State how Rizal’s family acquired the second surname-Rizal?
Answer: The real surname of the Rizal was Mercado, which was adopted on 1785 by Domingo Lamco.
Rizal’s family acquired a second surname Rizal who was given by the Spanish Alcalde Mayor.

Answer: Rizal’s life is simple, contented and happy. In consonance with Filipino custom, family ties
among the Rizal’s were intimately close. Don Francisco and Dona Teodora loved their children, but they
never spoiled them. They were strict parent and they trained their, children to love GOD, behave well, to
be obedient, and to respect people, especially the old folks.

Answer: Jose Rizal had many beautiful memories of childhood in his native town. He grew up in a happy
home, ruled by good parents, bubbling with joy, and sanctified by GOD blessing. The happiest period of
Rizal life was spent in this Lakeshore town a worthy prelude to his hamlet like tragic manhood.
2. Discuss briefly yet substantially the symbolism in the “Parable of the Moth”
Answer: Parable the moth is a story of the moth and the old one. It’s a story that catch the attention of Rizal.
It seems like moth is Rizal while the old one is her mother who always guides and protect her son. The
flame symbolizes the challenges that many encounter of Rizal. If we listen to our parents since we were
young our life in future will be great and wonderful.

Answer: The three good influences that his uncle are Heredity Influence, Environmental Influence and Aid
of Divine Providence. Heredity Influence is inherited from parent to offspring which is what’s Rizal
ancestor or parents has, has also in Rizal blood like his love for freedom, his desire to travel and his courage
what’s Rizal has was also his family has. Environmental Influence it’s also influences Rizal especially on
his province Calamba the beauty of the place, their beautiful garden of Rizal family stimulated the inborn
artistic and literary talents of Jose Rizal which means, the environment, society or our surrounding affect us
or our behavior. Last is, Aid of Divine Providence it’s simple to understand that a person may have
everything in life but without GOD in our life we cannot/he cannot attain a greatness in our lives.

EARLY EDUCATION IN CALAMBA AND BINAÑAN

Answer: Education is really necessary for us, especially for the youths like me, Dr, Jose Rizal says,
the youth is the hope of our future, through the help of education. Government is giving importance
to the education of the youths and children. For example: Universities has no tuition and there’s a lot
of school built especially to the provinces. A lot of youths today, dreamed to finish their schools
because they have goals in life that they want to achieve with the help of education. Loving for
Education is like Loving our Future. Today, it’s hard to find a job of your not at least graduate High
school because they set high standard. Without education where nothing.

1. Discuss briefly the malicious charges against Dona Teodora, why she was arrested and incarcerated?

Answer: June 1872, Doña Teodora was suddenly arrested that she and her brother Jose Alberto tried
to poison the latter’s perfidious wife Jose Alberto is a rich Biñan Illustrado had returned form a
business trip in Europe. During his absence his wife abandoned their home and the children, because
of kindness of Doña Teodora to avoid their family scandal she persuaded Jose Alberto to forgive her
wife but the return of his evil wife was to file a case in court accusing her husband and Doña
Teodora of attempting to poison her with the help of the Spanish Lieutenant of the Guardia Civil.

2. State the name and describe the first mentor of Rizal, and what knowledge that he gained from his
tutor.
Answer: The first mentor of Rizal was her mother who is patient, conscientious and understanding,
she who first discovered that her son had a talent for poetry and encourage him to write poems.

3. State what inspired Rizal to fight the evil’s Spanish tyranny?


Answer: Rizal inspired to fight the evil’s Spanish tyranny when Paciano told the heroic story of
Burgos. Martyrdom of Gom-Bur-Za is the mutiny abolition of their usual privileges including
exemption from tribute and polo (force labor) by the reactionary Governor Rafael de Lequierdo.
According to Gom-Bur-Za despite the archbishop’s plea for clemency because of their innocence,
were executed at sunrise by the order of Governor General Lequierdo. Their martyrdom was deeply
mourned by the Rizal family and many other patriotic families, that’s why Rizal inspired to fight the
evils of Spanish tyranny.

accompanied by his friend Mariano Katigbak. His old grandmother was a friend of the Katigbak
family of Lipa when he reached his grandmother house, he saw guests, one of whom was an
attractive girl who was mysteriously caused his heart to palpitate with strange ecstasy. Her name was

Segunda And her family would not anchor at Calamba because of strong wing and it would stop in
Biñan. He saddled his white horse and waited at the road. A cavalcade of carromatas from Biñan
passed by and that’s when Segunda smiling Ang waving her handkerchief. He doffed his hat and was

MEDICAL STUDIES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SANTO TOMAS (1877-1882)

evening” the vague figure turned out to be Lieutenant of the Guardia civil with a snarl, he turned

professor were hostile to him 2.) The Filipino student were racially discriminated against by the
Spaniards 3.) The method of instructions was absolute and repressive, because of the unfriendly
attitude of his professor even Rizal is the most brilliant graduate of the Ateneo failed to win high
scholastic honor.

Answer: As the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone live in the past year, we’ve seen interesting
trends for youth and how they’re spending their free-time. With the lack of in person activities and events,
youth are spending less time on organized after school and more to me engaged in individual pursuits such
as gaming, whole day using phone and many more that’s connected to social media we can’t deny that
there’s a lot more difference of the hobbies and reactions of youth before to now because of the advance
technologies it changes a lot. We must learn on how to control our selves in using phone and to learn the
time management.

exposed the trials, fanaticism, prejudices, and injustice that Luna and Hidalgo depicted in their work.
