Topic: Life Cycle of A Plant

Analyze the growth process of plants from the first stage of planting the

Students will walk in the class and see different fruits and vegetables displayed along with
their bean and melon plants they planted previously. The students will be asked to play a
game of what came first the seed or the fruit. After one round the teacher will introduce the
topic of The Life Cycle of A Plant

Students will engage in a video on the life cycle of a plant

Students will then be asked what part of the plant bears the fruit
Students will be asked to discuss the different seeds and their shapes and colour for
the difference and similarities.

Students will be asked to look at their bean plants and identify the parts of the plant:
roots, stems, leaves, and flowers.
Students will examine the inside of fruits that have been cut to expose their seeds to
better understand that seeds develop inside fruits.
Students will sequence pictures in the correct order to demonstrate the life cycle of a
plant
