Technical Seminar Circular 2023

Notice: B.E 8th Semester Technical Seminar 2022-23


All the 8th semester students are hereby being informed that, they have to
give a final year Technical Seminar as per the schedule mentioned below (between
27/03/2023 - 31/03/2023).

The presentation should be made by keeping in mind the following guidelines:


 The seminar presentation should be in 2010 version, i.e. in .ppt format only
(not .pptx).
 Project batches must carry their laptop with VGA to HDMI converter without
fail.
 The presentation should contain around 8-10 slides as per template given. The
duration of presentation will be about 10 min for each student and 5 minutes
for question and Answer session.
 Seminar will be evaluated for 50 marks based on:
i) Presentation (Quality of content & its formatting), Subject knowledge,
Communication/managerial skills, Reference/Plagiarism
check/Originality (Below 40%)
ii) Punctuality & Time utilization (Formal dress code is compulsory.)
iii) Response to questions.

Selection of Technical Seminar Topic


Seminar Topic should be
 A part of the project literature survey
 In accordance to current research trends and recent innovations
1. Seminar Topic Approval: Seminar topic should be discussed with guide and will be
approved by Seminar coordinators based on recommendation by guide.
2. Preparation of Seminar Report: Each student has to prepare a brief report consisting of
Abstract, Literature survey, block diagram, Methodology, Tools proposed for Technique,
Applications and Conclusion. Seminar report should be duly signed by the guide and the
Head of the department.
