HIGHLIGHTS
1. BEING SENT OUT
- Problem 1: “Hindi ko po kaya”
o Jeremiah 1:6-8 “Ah, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am only a
child.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say ‘I am only a child.’ You must go to
everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for
I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.
o Ate Cha: Spreading the Gospel to the Muslims at Quiapo
- Problem 2: “May trabaho ako/Nag-aaral ako”
o Matthew 18-22 Now as Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers,
Simon who was called Peter, and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for
they were fishermen. And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of
men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. Going on from there He saw
two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with
Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and He called them. Immediately they left the
boat and their father, and followed Him.
o Kuya Philip, Tita Rhoda, and Ate Saira
- Apostles were ordinary people yet it does not hinder them in serving the Lord.
o Hindi sila mayayaman
o Wala silang power sa community
o Wala silang sasakyan para makapaglipat lipat sa ibat-ibang mga lugar
2. BEING FAITHFUL
- Budget
o Wala akong pera (Matthew 6:33)
- Time-Management
o Magseserve ako sa Panginoon pero pagkatapos ko gawin ito ganyan!
- Persecution
o Matthew 10:22 “You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has
endured to the end will be saved. (Instruction for Service)
o Walang wala ang persecution na nararanasan natin ngayon compare sa mga
naranasan ng mga Apostle noon.
o Matthew 5:11-16 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely
say all kinds of evil against you because of me.”
Conclusion:
1 Corinthians 9:16 “Woe is me if I do not preach the Gospel”
Matthew 16:24-25 Then Jesus said to His disciple, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny
himself, take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses
his life for My sake will find it”
