I. General Information
Title: Reading Remediation (Read to Fly)
Theme: Eradicate Slow Reader Learners in New Murcia Elementary School.
Date: October 7, 2022
Cost: Php500.00
Venue: New Murcia Elementary School

II. Rationale
It has been observed that school children for this have difficulty in reading since this
they had not gone to school for three years. Now that we are on face to face set-up of
learning process, it was found out that most of the learners have difficulty in reading in
literacy and numeracy.
Therefore, there is a need for them to have a reading remediation to help them in their
studies since reading is basic to all learning curriculum.
Based on result of our Phil-IRI and EGRA there is a need to have a conduct of SLAC for
the solution on this major problem we have in our education.

III. Objectives:
The New Murcia Elementary School proposes this kind of activity with thye following
objectives:
1. To lessen the number of learners with reading disability.
2. To encourage learners to read passage with comprehension and enjoyment.

IV. Methodology:
In order to attain the stated objectives the following procedures will be taken:
1. The SLAC facilitate will set and announce the schedule.
2. Prepare the topic to be taken up.
3. Allocate budgets to incur the needs of the activity.
4. Gather significant information to improve and realize the plan.
5. Conduct the SLAC.

V. Expected Participants:
All school teachers of New Murcia Elementary School including the principal.
VI. Budgetary Requirements:
Snacks - Php400.00
Paraphernalia - Php100.00
Total Php500.00
