Money Matters
with JoLynne Whittaker
INTRODUCTION
JoLynne Whittaker Ministries is so blessed
that you participated in the Money Matters
intensive. We believe every Christian should
have accurate knowledge of what the Bible says
about money and finances. Below, you will find
my notes, the very same notes I used to teach this
intensive. Why? Because I want you to treat
this material not just as another “book” but as
a study resource, by which you can gain greater
understanding and command of the Word and
God’s financial principles! You’ll notice that I’ve
broken the curriculum down as a list in order
to help you study and meditate on the material.
My goal is to equip and inspire you to pursue
and produce much fruit in the area of financial
increase, specifically. As I always say, I look
forward to your praise reports! May God be
glorified through this teaching, and may you be
highly blessed. In Jesus’ name!

1. It is critical that Christians have a Biblical
perspective of money. The world says many
things about money, but what does God say?
The world and society teach certain things, but
what does the Bible teach? Because only in
God’s Word, the Bible, do we find the truth.
Money must be interacted with correctly: it is a
commodity, a substance for exchange. Money is
a substance, a tool, which can be used to purchase
things, procure and secure things, bring forth
results, bless others, facilitate the work of God,
sustain and bless our families - and more.
1 Timothy 6:10 — For the love of money is a
root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for
it have wandered away from the faith and pierced
themselves with many griefs.
2
MONEY MATTERS
Note that it is the love of money that is the root
of all evil. Therefore, we approach money at all
times with both caution and respect (i.e. Similar
to fire, gasoline, etc.).
Note how the exact same amount of money does
different things depending on whose hand it is
in. Example: a drug dealer vs. faithful Christian.
An immature spender vs. a self-disciplined
individual. From these examples we learn a
critical truth: money takes on the persona and
intention of the person who is holding it. Money
itself is not evil, but it can do evil things. It
can also do wonderful things. It all depends on
whose hand the money is in.
In the Bible, we learn wealth can and does come
from God.
1 Samuel 2:7 — The Lord sends poverty and
wealth; he humbles AND He exalts.
3 John 1:2 — Beloved, I pray that you may
prosper in all things and be in health, just as your
soul prospers.
Genesis 13:2 — Abraham had become very
3
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold.
THIS IS THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT.
Are you ready? Let’s go deeper!
In Genesis chapter 12, we see the advent of the
Abrahamic Covenant, which still exists and is
in operation, today. Listen to what the Lord
promised Abraham, because this also applies to
you: Genesis 12:1-3 — Get out of your country,
from your family and from your father’s house,
To a land that I will show you. I will make you
a great nation. I will bless you, And make your
name great. And you shall be a blessing. I will
bless those who bless you, and I will curse him
who users you; And in you all the families of the
earth shall be blessed.
From this we learn wealth and personal greatness,
along with people being blessed because of you,
is a sign of God’s blessing on your life.
4
MONEY MATTERS
Genesis 26:4-5 — And I will make your
descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I
will give to your descendants all these lands; and
in your seed all the nations of the earth shall
be blessed; beaus Abraham obeyed My voice
and kept My charge, My commandments, My
statutes, and My laws.
So we can be blessed by the actions of others,
and we can be blessed by the anointing of others.
So too will the Lord extend His benevolence to
others, based upon His covenant with you. In
the same manner, our children can be blessed by
our own relationship with the Lord, and our right
actions. Deuteronomy 28:4 — Blessed shall be
the fruit of thy body….
This Abrahamic Covenant is yours and applies to
your life because according to the Bible, you are a
son or a daughter of Abraham.
ROMANS 11:17-24
17 But some of these branches from Abraham’s
tree—some of the people of Israel—have been
5
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches
from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in.
So now you also receive the blessing God has
promised Abraham and his children, sharing
in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s
special olive tree.
18 But you must not brag about being grafted in
to replace the branches that were broken off. You
are just a branch, not the root.
19 “Well,” you may say, “those branches were
broken off to make room for me.”
20 Yes, but remember—those branches were
broken off because they didn’t believe in Christ,
and you are there because you do believe. So
don’t think highly of yourself, but fear what could
happen.
21 For if God did not spare the original branches,
he won’t spare you either.
22 Notice how God is both kind and severe. He
6
MONEY MATTERS
is severe toward those who disobeyed, but kind to
you if you continue to trust in his kindness. But
if you stop trusting, you also will be cut off.
23 And if the people of Israel turn from their
unbelief, they will be grafted in again, for God
has the power to graft them back into the tree.
24 You, by nature, were a branch cut from a wild
olive tree. So if God was willing to do something
contrary to nature by grafting you into his
cultivated tree, he will be far more eager to graft
the original branches back into the tree where
they belong.
We have already learned that the Abrahamic
covenant, brings forth a blessing that produces
LITERAL WEALTH. Not figurative wealth.
Not imaginary wealth. You won’t say, I’m
under the Abrahamic Covenant and I’m
wealthy in positive energy. IF YOU ARE IN
RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD UNDER
THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT, YOU
WILL BEGIN TO BOTH RECEIVE AND
CULTIVATE ACTUAL WEALTH. Catch that:
2 categories: Receive and Cultivate. More on that
in a bit.

2. The receipt or offer of wealth must be
examined with great caution. Test the spirits,
examine the source, examine the fruit. The Bible
says the Holy Spirit will help us discern the type
of spirit a person is operating under, and the
presence of fruit in their life (or lack thereof ) will
testify as to their authenticity and standing with
the Lord.
At first receipt or offer of wealth, we must ask the
Holy Spirit to help us discern the source is in fact
The Lord. Why? Because in this world, wealth
comes from one of two kingdoms: the Kingdom
of God, or satan the devil.
Money (wealth) does not automatically signify
or indicate the presence of God’s blessing or
favor. In Luke 4:5-7, the devil offered Jesus
all the kingdoms of the world, which included
wealth. From this, we learn satan can give riches
8
MONEY MATTERS
to people too, because he is the ruler/‘god’ of this
world. See 2 Corinthians 4:4.
Commentary from Pulpit Homiletics: Jesus
knew he was to become Conqueror and Ruler of
the world! Universal empire was, therefore, his
legitimate ambition. It is here that Satan tempts
him. Taking him to some mountain-top, he
shows him, in some miraculous fashion, all the
kingdoms of the inhabited world in a moment
of time. Next he claims to be the rightful ruler of
these kingdoms, but is willing to make a bargain
with the ambitious Messiah that, if he will only
acknowledge his sovereignty and pay him the
homage due to earthly kings, all the kingdoms
shall be made over to him. The temptation here
is to gratify ambition at the cheapest rate. No
self-denial, no self-sacrifice, no consuming spirit,
shall be needful, but simply a little homage paid
to the world’s prince. It was such a bargain as
a worldly mind would have welcomed eagerly.
But Jesus refused the terms. He would not
acknowledge Satan to be the world’s rightful
ruler. He regarded him as a usurper whom he
had come to depose. Hence, in impatience with
the arch-fiend, our Lord exclaimed, “Get thee
behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt
9
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt
thou serve.” The question in the first temptation
was that of revelation, corresponding to the
first of the baptismal gifts; the question in this
temptation is that of inspiration, the spirit of
service, and corresponding to the second of the
baptismal gifts. Jesus will not render any homage
to the world’s betrayer, but will serve God alone!
Once more may we see the grand spirit of self-
sacrifice which this implies. Jesus will seek and
obtain a universal empire, but by making no
truce with the world; rather would he himself
suffer unto death and be followed by myriads of
martyrs, than gratify a poor ambition in Satan’s
suggested and worldly way.

MONEY MATTERS
3. The Lord, who is just, holy, and a
benevolent Father, gave wealth to Abraham
— and interestingly, had no issue making
Abraham’s name great. This means notoriety.
Sometimes God requires you to be public, seen,
known. In this case, your personal wealth and
stature will assist you to have an impact. We are
in the world but not of the world.—John 17:16
However, God will establish you so that when
those of the world look at you, you immediately
command attention. This is one undeniable
reason for the Lord greatly blessing people. Some
Christians have a hard time with that, but God
Himself says in Deuteronomy 28:8-10 - The
LORD will send a blessing on your barns and
on everything you put your hand to. The LORD
your God will bless you in the land he is giving
you. The LORD will establish you as his holy
people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep
the commands of the LORD your God and walk
11
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
in obedience to him. Then all the peoples on
earth will see that you are called by the name of
the LORD, and they will fear you.
GOD WILL ESTABLISH YOU SO THAT
WHEN THOSE OF THE WORLD LOOK
AT YOU, YOU IMMEDIATELY COMMAND
ATTENTION. No one is impressed or attracted
to a broken, broke, whiny, church. We’re
supposed to be the HEAD, not the tail! We’re
seated in heavenly places with Christ, we were
given all authority! It is the GOSPEL of Jesus
Christ, the pure, unchanged, unleashed, gospel
of Jesus Christ, preached under Holy Ghost
FIRE, that wins lost souls to the Lord Jesus
Christ. However as Ambassadors of Christ, we
must claim every right and every blessing God
has released and ascribed to us. Your Bible says
God made Abraham’s name GREAT, that YOU
have access to the Abrahamic covenant, and that
means God will MAKE YOUR NAME GREAT.
Some of you need to get ready — I prophesy
you’re about to go from invisibility and obscurity
to notoriety and publicity for the name and the
fame of Jesus — in a good way, a positive way, an
impactful and relevant way. For the Kingdom of
God!
12
MONEY MATTERS
4. Make up your mind to base your whole life,
including your finances, on the Word of God
— without compromise. Do not simply choose
a handful scriptures you like, or single out your
favorite verses, BUT RECEIVE AND LIVE BY
THE WHOLE, ENTIRE WORD OF GOD.
If you want to walk in the fullness of the Blessing
your God has for your life, you must approach
the Word of God with an intent to glean full, not
partial, understanding. Now commit to applying
it correctly.
ALL scripture is God breathed (the KJV says
“given by inspiration of God”). When you really
understand and accept that, you realize it’s a fact
that changes everything and gives you real FIRE
POWER! How so? Because you now know
whatever the Bible says about finances, is SOLID,
RELIABLE, TRUTH. If God said it, you can
rely on it.
13
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
2 Timothy 3:16 — All scripture is given by
inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness: Verse 17: That the man of God
may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all
good works.
Therefore we learn from the entire Word of God
regarding money matters, and hence, we benefit.
14
MONEY MATTERS
5. Realize that as a Christian who desires to
be financially abundant, you must MASTER
MONEY MATTERS. Financial principles echo
throughout the entire Bible, indicating clearly
that money is something you’ll have to know
about, learn about, and master, in terms of your
interaction with it. Why is this so?
* The Lord knows life on earth requires currency
for survival; for this reason He includes in depth
financial teachings in the. Word.
* The Lord knows that money is the root of all
evil (greed, spirits of wickedness, etc.)
* God knows the enemy uses money to control
people. The lack of money keeps people low,
the promise of money moves people to greed,
while the presence of money moves people to
compromise morals and character, even sending
them into all manner of wickedness and wicked
behaviors.
15
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
If you don’t think money is used by the systems
of this world to control people, consider
government assistance programs which do more
to keep the recipients on the program, than
they do to educate or empower them out of
the programs. Consider unfair employment
opportunity in the form of nepotism, taxation,
and more. If you don’t think the wicked systems
of this world use money (the promise of it or
the withholding of it) to control people, please
think again. Not only is money the root of all
evil, greed and wickedness just like the Bible says,
but it is a tool that is used to both suppress and
manipulate people. I believe this is a large part
of the reason God provided Biblical financial
principles. His financial truths and principles
allow us to bypass the financial systems of this
world and access the economy of Heaven.
Growing up, I learned that impoverished people
are at the mercy of others, and often under
constant and various forms of stress. I learned
that Poverty is a spirit that partners with Fear.
Poverty and fear are spirits. Those spirits often
show up in bloodlines and generational spirits
and curses. They can be overcome by the Power
of the Blood of Jesus, the anointing of the
Holy Spirit which destroys the yoke, and being
16
MONEY MATTERS
transformed by the renewing of our minds — so
we can live, choose and act correctly, once we are
free. Amen!
17
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
6. HOW DO WE BEGIN TO ACCESS
HEAVEN’S ECONOMY? Just as an
irresponsible, immature or overly compulsive
child would not be given full access to the
household’s bank account or parental resources,
it is similar with our Heavenly Father — we find
that spiritual maturity and personal discipline
are the keys by which we can unlock “financial
doors”.
Yes, there are many doors, because there are levels
to this. More to the point, there are various levels
of elevation and increase. But we must all start at
the feet of Jesus.
John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8
* REDEMPTION: That is foundational
building block #1: We must be born again,
saved, redeemed by the Blood of Jesus. How can
18
MONEY MATTERS
someone who has not sought to join the family
of God, taken their place in the Body of Christ,
hope to access the “family finances” as it were?
Acts 4:11-12
* TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING
OF YOUR MIND — you must be a changed
person. Romans 12:1-2 — I shared earlier this
week how some dysfunctional behaviors in my
mother blocked her from experiencing success
in her life. I made up my mind that would not
happen to me, because I have children to provide
for and create legacy for, AND I have a destiny to
walk out. We must ALLOW THE LORD TO
TRANSFORM YOU — and don’t fight it!
* HOUSE IS IN ORDER — God is righteous,
He is a God of order not chaos. 1 Corinthians
14:33 — Can I say it like this? God does not fill
messy buckets. God does not fill sinful, unholy
or illegal buckets. Isaiah told Hezekiah get your
house in order. Why, because Hezekiah was
about to transition from one way of living, to
another — from earthly life to the supernatural.
2 Kings 20:1-2
19
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
If we hope to transition from our current way
of life to the next level, so too must we “get our
house in order”. Messy buckets block flow.
OPERATE IN INTEGRITY AND HONOR.
Lack of integrity will block God’s blessing. Luke
16:10 — He that is faithful in that which is least
is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in
the least is unjust also in much.
Are there any outstanding issues that require your
attention? Do you need to make arrangements to
pay debt? Ignoring these things does not make
them go away, and God also sees you ignoring
important issues! You must acknowledge it exists
and want to resolve it. God can eradicate it, but
He is still looking for you to demonstrate your
heart posture: are you a person of integrity and
honor, or not? God looks at the heart. 1 Samuel
16:7
*UNDERSTAND PROVISION VERSUS
20
MONEY MATTERS
WEALTH. It is time to understand the
difference between provision and wealth,
provision and increase. Provision is when God
provides for your needs.
God promises to provide for the needs of
those who seek first the Kingdom and His
righteousness. Matthew 6:33.
When you are saved and not walking in sin,
Matthew 6:33 is your portion. Even Luke 6:38
is your portion. However, our needs are not
our wants, and provision for our needs satisfies
different things than personal wealth satisfies.
Provision pays the rent; wealth buys the property.
Provision buys the groceries; wealth procures
groceries for the month and buys someone else’s
groceries, as well. Provision allows you to pay the
bills; wealth allows you to build the vision — all
the while sowing generously into the Kingdom of
God and the lives of others.
It is time to humbly but honestly see the
difference.
21
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
* DO NOT OPERATE WITH OR FLOCK
WITH, SINNERS OR THE UNGODLY.
Psalm 1:1 — This equates CONTAMINATION.
Does this contradict the wealth of the winner
being laid up for the just? NO. A supernatural
transfer of wealth is when God COMPELS
SOMEONE to surrender their goods to you,
bless you, help you, sow or seed into you. They
may not even fully understand why! All they
know is they are compelled to do it and they can’t
resist! This happens when the Lord causes wealth
to come to you, according to Proverbs 13:22.
This is a completely different scenario from
deliberately doing business with or interacting
with, people you know are ungodly or unholy in
their lifestyle.
22
MONEY MATTERS
7. Commit to, establish and maintain personal
EXCELLENCE.
Daniel 6:3 — Now Daniel so distinguished
himself among the administrators and the satraps
by his exceptional qualities that the king planned
to set him over the whole kingdom.
Colossians 3:23-24 — Whatever you do, work
at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord,
not for human masters, since you know that you
will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a
reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.
Proverbs 10:4 — A slack hand causes poverty,
but the hand of the diligent makes rich.
Philippians 4:8 — Finally, brothers, whatever
23
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just,
whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
commendable, if there is any excellence, if there
is anything worthy of praise, think about these
things.
24
MONEY MATTERS
8. Maintain A Progressive Identity in Christ
2 Corinthians 3:18 — But we all, with open face
beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are
changed into the same image from glory to glory,
even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
As a lifestyle, commit to a progressive identity in
Christ, which means:
- You pursue Christian maturity and always seek
to go deeper
- Going from glory to glory is your chosen and
committed lifestyle; you’re always learning!
No pride, no stubbornness. Maintaining a
progressive identity in Christ means letting the
Lord lead you, guide you, constantly grow you.
We can only receive at the level to which we are
capable of containing. God gives us according
to our capacity — NEW WINE CANNOT
BE POURED INTO OLD WINESKINS! —
25
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
Matthew 9:17
9. Do not lean on your own understanding.
Apply Biblical wisdom in ALL THINGS
at ALL TIMES. Seek the Lord for wisdom
whenever you need it. You ACT and MAKE
DECISIONS based on scriptural TRUTH even
above your own feelings, beliefs or opinions.
Proverbs 3:5-6 — Trust in the LORD with
all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
2 Corinthians 5:7 — …for we walk by faith, not
by sight…
26
MONEY MATTERS
10. Honor Leadership — this is not a
suggestion, but an instruction. According to
Romans 13:7 which says: Render therefore to
all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due;
custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear;
honor to whom honor.
God is a God of honor, disrespect is never
tolerated, especially when it comes to leadership
— the leader or anointing you don’t respect or
honor is the leader/anointing you will not be able
to receive from.
Matthew 10:41 — He that receiveth a prophet
in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s
reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man
in the name of a righteous man shall receive a
righteous man’s reward.
27
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
Proverbs 11:25-28 in the Message Bible:
25 The one who blesses others is abundantly
blessed; those who help others are helped. 26
Curses on those who drive a hard bargain!
Blessings on all who play fair and square! 27 The
one who seeks good finds delight; the student
of evil becomes evil. 28 A life devoted to things
is a dead life, a stump; a God-shaped life is a
flourishing tree.
28
MONEY MATTERS
11. Tithes, Offerings, Alms — 3 Types of
Sowing, 3 Types of Blessings.
TITHING
Malachi 3:8,10-12 — OPENS WINDOWS OF
HEAVEN, REBUKES THE DEVOURER
Matthew 5:17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the
prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Matthew 6:21
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be
also.
29
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
Matthew 23:23
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees,
you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--
mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the
more important matters of the law--justice, mercy
and faithfulness. You should have practiced the
latter, without neglecting the former.
2 Chronicles 31:4-5
Moreover, he commanded the people who dwelt
in Jerusalem to contribute support[a] for the
priests and the Levites, that they might devote
themselves to the Law of the Lord.
OFFERINGS — Demonstrates the condition of
your heart, your personal consistency, your trust
in the Lord, and it triggers a financial protocol by
which you begin to receive.
Proverbs 3:9-10 — Honor the Lord with thy
substance, and with the first fruits of all thine
increase:
30
MONEY MATTERS
So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy
presses shall burst out with new wine.
Nehemiah 10:35 — We also assume
responsibility for bringing to the house of the
LORD each year the first fruits of our crops and
of every fruit tree.
FIRST FRUIT IS A TYPE OF OFFERING
TO THE LORD THAT SHOWS YOUR
GRATITUDE. IT ALSO SHOWS YOUR
SURRENDER — you give Him the FIRST
and the BEST. Why does God need us to
demonstrate that? Well, God is no stranger
to betrayal. The Lord experienced betrayal
by Lucifer… by Adam… and then Judas…
Therefore, God is interested in examining and
knowing your heart.
Luke 6:38 — Give, and it shall be given unto
you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over, shall men give into
your bosom. For with the same measure that ye
mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 — Every man according
as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give;
31
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth
a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all
grace abound toward you; that ye, always having
all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every
good work…
ALMS (almsgiving) — This is giving to the
POOR, specifically.
Luke 11:41 - reference verse
Deuteronomy 15:11 — For the poor shall never
cease out of the land: therefore, I command thee,
saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto
thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy
land.
Luke 12:33 - reference verse
*Matthew 6:1-3 -- Be careful not to practice
your righteousness in front of others to be seen
by them. If you do, you will have no reward from
your Father in heaven. So, when you give to the
needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as
the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the
streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you,
32
MONEY MATTERS
they have received their reward in full. But when
you give to the needy, do not let your left hand
know what your right hand is doing…
Giving alms is being compassionate and loving;
giving and genuinely caring. This once again
demonstrates the condition of our heart, which
the Lord always examines. Isn’t it interesting that
most Christians publicize all they do for the poor?
The Bible tells us specifically not to do that! I
personally know of very wealthy ministers who
give to the poor and never tell a soul. No one
outside of the Lord, their spouse or their staff,
knows. Perhaps this is why they are wealthy!
Silence in alms-giving is a Biblical principle!
There are different levels of manifestation /
outpouring; there is the 30, 60, or 100-fold.
Matthew 13:23 — But he that received seed into
the good ground is he that heareth the word, and
understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and
bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty,
some thirty.
33
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
12. Give generously and cheerfully. God
gives seed to the sower, so the more we give, the
more we receive. Furthermore, we receive at the
level we give, according to Luke 6:38. Some
people sow mini but believe for mega. I’m going
to share a secret many wealthy or financially
abundant people in the body of Christ know, and
that is sowing moves the heart and the hand of
God. Why? Because it shows that money is not
your treasure, JESUS is your treasure, and you
will surrender your riches to Him! When God
knows that is the posture of your heart, get ready,
because it’s only a matter of time before you start
to see increase!
2 Corinthians 9:10 — Now he that ministereth
seed to the sower both minister bread for your
food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase
34
MONEY MATTERS
the fruits of your righteousness…
Luke 6:38 — Give, and it shall be given unto
you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken
together, and running over, shall men give into
your bosom. For with the same measure that ye
mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
As you increase financially, be careful not to
be taken advantage of. Discern when you are
enabling someone versus actually helping them.
35
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
13. When God knows He has someone who is
responsible, faithful, disciplined, committed
to a lifestyle of growth and worship, and a
good steward on top of all that, He will release
strategies and revelations for wealth.
Deuteronomy 28:8 — But thou shalt remember
the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee
power to get wealth, that he may establish his
covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is
this day.
Jeremiah 33:2-3 — Thus said the Lord the
maker thereof, the Lord that formed it, to
establish it; the Lord is His name; Call to me, and
I will answer you, and show you great and mighty
things, which you know not.
36
MONEY MATTERS
Let God order your steps - Psalm 37:23
14. Steward what God gives you and steward
your heart!
Titus 1:7-9 — For a bishop must be
blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled,
not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not
given to filthy lucre;
8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men,
sober, just, holy, temperate;
9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been
taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine
both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.
1 Corinthians 4:2 — Moreover it is
required in stewards, that a man be found
faithful.
37
JOLYNNE WHITTAKER
Colossians 3:23 — steward every level like
