Identification>:The strategy followed by vodafone company is differentiated. This is also known as pull strategy. Reasons>:Vodafone is creating some difference in the competitive world .They run their businesses much differently from their competitors. They provide different type of services to different type of people than their competitors .They provided with many low price recharge options and on the other hand claimed the best service and network. They also are investing in product and service development. And also use different methods of promoting their product. Target market>:persons of different age groups using cell phones seeking better service and quality at cheaper rates . So they provided different add-ons for different age groups. Plus giving services like internet and post paid schemes. So their target was making new customers , no matter of what age they were. Strategies>: Vodafone's strategy is product-led; the company is continually developing new products and services which utilise the latest technological advances . Different strategies used by the company to reach their target market are> Launching new advertisement campaigns. Vodafone communicates regularly with its customers. Providing add-on services Better network Plenty of recharge options Services like e-recharge and Wap services Technology services like 3G

Advantages>: different advantages of using these strategies are Obtaining new customers Adding to or realising customer a service degree of customer delight. Loyalty of old customers.

Help in research and development Introduction of new technologies. Disadvantages >:there are some disadvantages also In some countries providing new services and technology is difficult or very costly so if they are unable to provide that then it adds to customer dissatisfaction and disbelief. As vodafone targets market leadership so it has to reduce its prices and improve its services due to competition.
