BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 2022-14
“A BOARD RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGR. NUMERIANO M. CASTAÑEDA JR., GENERAL MANAGER OF SAN
RAFAEL WATER DISTRICT, AS THE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORY TO TRANSACT REFUND AND TO RECEIVE
CHECKS FROM MERALCO CASH ADVANCE FOR PCA NUMBER 1603029347 WITH A TOTAL AMOUNT OF
ONE HUNDRED ONE THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED FIFTY-TWO AND 73/100 (P 101,652.73)”.
WHEREAS, on November 22, 2022, the San Rafael Water received a letter from
MERALCO regarding the refund for Cash Advance No. 1603029347 amounting to P 101,652.73
located at 1002 Fairfield Country Estate, Maasim, San Rafael, Bulacan;
WHEREAS, in accordance with the rules and guidelines as stipulated 11, 2022, the San
Rafael Water District received a letter from MERALCO informing management that the San
Rafael Water District is entitled to a portion of the Cash Advance pertaining to the PCA No.
1603029347 in the Cash Advance Agreement for the projects, refund shall be made annually at
the rate of 75% of the gross distribution revenues generated from directly tapped service/s;
WHEREAS, below are the details of the refund computations:

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of Director Leonila G. Ramos duly seconded by Director Marivic V.
Vergel de Dios and unanimously approved by all the members of the Board of Directors present; it is
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize Engr. Numeriano M. Castañeda Jr., General Manager
of San Rafael Water District, as the authorized signatory to transact refund and to receive checks from
MERALCO for the abovementioned projects of San Rafael Water District;
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished all authorities concerned for their
information and reference.
