8 YEARS AND COUNTING
An insight into how pabla+pabla keep on achieving success
8 years and counting and pabla+pabla continue to satisfy its clients, business partners and staff. In what has been an unsettling period for many businesses, including many high profile law firms, we have continued to deliver excellent results for clients while expanding and rising to a prominent position within our industry, and the future looks bright. So how are things different at pabla+pabla? Why do clients and Claims Management Companies continue to instruct pabla+pabla as opposed to the many other Claimant law firms out there? A brief insight into our methods should explain why. Our business aims to deliver an exceptional service to the client. We know that following the stress of a road traffic accident, the injured party doesnt want additional stress in bringing their claim. Allocation of a dedicated lawyer Each client is assigned a dedicated lawyer with the relevant expertise and experience to deal with any issues that may arise, and as all relevant information is obtained by telephone instruction where relevant and possible, this means that we can get on with obtaining the maximum amount of compensation with the minimum amount of fuss for your clients. Embracing technology The use of the latest case management IT systems, along with the introduction of the new web based claims portal mean that claims are being settled and compensation is received faster than ever before. We have always embraced technology, and since the launch of the new portal process the transition has been seamless for our staff. Litigating not lingering For those complex cases which are not settled quickly by the insurers, the exceptional service is maintained. Where a dispute is identified the claim will be dealt with by a lawyer who has the specific experience in the disputed area, with the objective to bring the matter to a final hearing at court, if so required. The case will be prepared so that a client has the best chance of success, and this includes early meetings with the barrister who will present the case at Trial. We will also obtain forensic engineering evidence and additional medical evidence if required. With all of these resources in place, your clients chances of winning will be greatly enhanced, and that is why at pabla+pabla we are successful in over 95% of our cases which go to trial.

Too many claims, not enough cars
We are all aware in the accident management business, that you can be extremely busy one month, and quiet the next. How often is it a case of feast or famine? Especially during the winter months, when demand can far outweigh your supply of replacement vehicles. At pabla+pabla, we have found that Spectra, a 7 days per week, nationwide organisation who specialise in vehicle repair, recovery and replacement, can provide a facility where our new and existing referrers can outsource replacement vehicles to ensure that they can always provide an all round service for their customers. Whether you have cross-hire arrangements already in place, or simply require replacement vehicles once your fleet is fully hired out, Spectra can assist in supplying quality replacement vehicles to match the service that you need to deliver, in order to ensure client satisfaction. Even if you only require support setting up your own fleet and arranging the finance and acquisition of credit hire vehicles, then Spectra may be able to help you. pabla+pabla has forged a strong working relationship with Spectra, and if you are looking for additional revenue streams for your business, with an all-round RTA claims service, then please contact Lee Howarth on 0161 234 2650 or via email at

Why should United Medical Services arrange physio for all of your clients?
With the new changes in the claims notification process which occurred in April 2010, all solicitors who handle low value RTA claims must now receive a completed claims notification form (CNF). Completing the CNF Form Many RTA solicitors are still representing claimants who tick NO within Section C of the CNF Form (see below), and in doing so they are leaving themselves exposed to the risk of defendant insurers organising physiotherapy for their clients (this is the equivalent of allowing the defendant insurers to organise a medical report for their client, something which would never happen!). Similarly, why would they possibly allow the insurers arrange physio for their client? It is therefore imperative that in all cases claimants should be ticking the YES box in section C of the CNF, with the claims management companies ensuring that the claimant is receiving physio at the outset and that they or the acting solicitor send the rehab instruction to United Medical Services. Early intervention At United Medical Services our aim is to provide early assessment and rehabilitation in all personal injury cases, putting the individual claimant back into the same position as he or she would have been, had the accident not occurred. We ensure that claimants receive appropriate assessment of their injuries within just a few days of incident. If treatment is necessary, our service then extends to sourcing and arranging treatment within 3 miles of the claimants home. Nationwide network of rehabilitation experts With an expanding national network of Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and other specialists, United Medical Services is able to manage the claimants rehabilitation from assessment to discharge; receiving regular interim reports from clinicians as treatment progresses. Co-ordinating an evidence-based case management service between solicitor, client and medical professional, the benefits for the claims management company and solicitor are numerous. Maximising compensation and claim validation Our early intervention has also been shown to prevent third party capture, securing maximum value on each claim. In addition, the assessment helps validate the claim, and of course, allows the claimant to mitigate his losses as soon as possible following his the accident incident. pabla+pabla solicitors have been instructing United Medical Services to provide physio for their clients since 2009, if you would like further details please contact us at [email protected] or view our website www.unitedmedicalservices.co.uk
