Front wheel drive with Anti-spin-control
Description
The front wheel drive supports the traction of the main drive in working position.
Depending on the chosen equipment only one or both of the front axles are driven.
An electronic Anti-spin-control prevents a sliding of the driven front wheels.
The speed of each front wheel is computer controlled. This ensures a smooth an uniform
travelling around the curve.

Front wheel drive
Function ( hydraulic system )
Deactivated front wheel drive:
The pressure control valve cuts the flow of oil of the axial piston pump.
There is a stand – by - pressure of 18 - 20 bar at the port P of the pressure control valve.
To ensure to scavenge the piston of the front wheel motors with oil all the time, oil of an
external pump ( auger pump or drive pump ) is added to the circuit via a feeding port.
The pressure of 4 bar in the system is secured by a throttle check valve.
Returning oil is lead away by port T of the pressure control valve back to the tank.
Activated front wheel drive:
The quantity of oil needed by the ASC - valves is set free by the pressure control valve.
The initial stand by pressure of 18 - 20 bar is passed on ( by control hose ) to the
modulation control of the pump.
As soon as the rising pressure of the system reaches the pre-set- pressure ( set at the
pressure relief valve ), the pump turns back to a lower volume, automatically.

The Anti-spin-control, 4 - wheels consist of following parts:
- Controller S1X
- 4 Speed sensors ( One speed Sensor for each wheel )
- 2 ASC - valves
- Steering Potentiometer ( Steering angle )
Each ASC - valve provides the oil flow for both motors of each site.
The speed of the wheels is picked up continuously by each speed Sensor. The signal is
transmitted to the micro - controller. As a further signal the micro - controller processes
the steering angle.
Out of all this data the micro - controller will work out the current values of the ASC -
valves.

The Anti-spin-control, 2 - wheels consist of following parts:
- Controller S1X
- 4 speed sensors ( One speed sensor for each wheel )
- 1 ASC - valve
- Steering potentiometer ( Steering angle )
The ASC - Valve provides the motor on the L/H and the motor on the R/H with an
required oil flow.
The speed of the wheels is picked up continuously by each speed sensor. The signal is
transmitted to the micro - controller. As a further signal the micro - controller processes
the steering angle.
Out of all this data the micro - controller will work out the current values of the ASC -
valves.
