Purification and Filtration of Laundry Water

Using Charcoal-Sand Filter

I choose to study the purification and filtration of laundry water using charcoal-sand
filter because I want to help those communities who are lacking of clean water
resources. Not only that but also to propagate the use of water recycling for everyone.
For me, this study is one of the most relevant research study we must pursue to
conduct. Based on the article released by Raffy Cabristante of ABS-CBN News on March
23, 2023, “President Marcos says that Philippines is facing water crisis” other than that
he also says that “a necessary and urgent step towards achieving our collective aim of
attaining water security” and this statement open my eyes to contribute some actions
to help our country’s water scarce problem. We all know that water is very important to
us and one of the large portion of the water usage goes to the laundry water. By
conducting this research study, we can save and reuse the laundry water. In addition, it
can change the situation of water crisis for those 11 million families living in Philippines
that are lacking in clean water resources.

The Potential of Pineapple (Anasas Comosus) Leaf Fiber


as Alternative Decorative Paper

I choose to study the potential of pineapple leaf fiber as alternative decorative paper
because I know that making a recycled decorative paper can help reduce the amount of
wood we need for decorative paper products. Aside from that, this research study can
help to create cheap and good quality decorative paper. Even though others says that
pineapple leaves are not useful anymore we can still change their minds and let them
see that we can create useful decorative paper from the scratch of pineapple leaves. In
addition, this research study inspires me to see better things we can build from the
scratch, also this is another way to help our community by recycling. I want to conduct
this study and prove that we can do better things to make this world a better place.
The Potential of Guava (Psidium Guajava) Leaves Extract
as Alternative Hand Sanitizer

I choose to study the potential of guava leaves extract as alternative hand sanitizer
because I think this one is a great study to conduct, especially when the Covid-19
widespread many people get sick and there comes a point that we are lacking of
alcohol disinfectants. So, people tend to find some alternatives for this matter and by
doing so other people are not aware that other hand sanitizer have methanol, 1-
propanol and paraben that can be toxic to humans. This research study will be really
helpful for everyone, having naturally-derived hand sanitizer is a game changer because
if this study will be a success then I can help those people who are conscious to use
hand sanitizer with chemicals to use this naturally-derived hand sanitizer. In addition,
this can also help for those who are in medical field to use this alternative hand
sanitizer. We don’t know maybe in the future this study will make a great impact and if
it will then I’ll be looking forward of keep on thinking a lot of ways to help others.
