Objective of this project is to integrate and manage external and internal sources (includes
tangible assets, financial resources, materials and human resources) and to facilitate the flow of
information between all business function inside the boundaries of organization and manage the
connection to outside stake holders which is built on centralized database and utilizes a common
computing platform, ERP system consolidates all business operations into a uniform and
enterprise –wide system environment. The General Ledger is a primary module where the
transactions are journalized and summarized for the preparation and presentation of the financial
systems and it is supported by other modules within PeopleSoft (AP), Asset Management (AM)
and multiple third-party systems. ETL process extracts the data from different sources and
transforms the data into a standardized form and lets PeopleSoft to consume and process further.
Responsibilities: -
Worked with Data Architects and Business Analysts to clarify the ambiguous
requirements/source to target mappings.
Identified the sources as per the mapping document and analyzed the source data for
better development of the code.
Designed the DataStage Parallel Jobs using different stages to load data from sources to
Operational staging area and then to target Data warehouse/Data marts as per the

enterprise level warehouse aimed to support the Management in arriving at effective business
decisions. uFORM is a financial data warehouse implemented using PeopleSoft Enterprise
Performance Management (EPM) 8.9 methodology that transforms and houses the
information to cater to reporting needs of various business streams viz., Trust Asset
Reporting, Capital Allocations, Revenue Allocations, Costing, Funds Transfer Pricing,
Income Statement, Balance sheet. The data from various external and internal source systems
are fed into the EPM Warehouse by Extraction Transformation and Loading (ETL)
Processes.
Roles and Responsibilities: -
Responsible for extracting data from varied sources like flat files and RDBMS databases
into staging area and build OWS, OWE and MDW layers.
