1. Processional - this is omitted if the Girl Scouts and the guests are already in their places.

2. Opening Remarks – the Troop Leader welcomes the guests and candidates to the ceremonies.

3. Presentation of Guests and Candidates – the troop co-leader presents the guests and
candidates.

4. Investiture Ceremony – an Investing Officer may be invited to invest the new Girl Scouts or the
Troop Leader can invest the new Girl Scouts.

Troop Leader/Investing Officer We have here with us a number of girls, aged 9 to 12. Let us
ask them why they are here. Girls, why are you here and what
do you wish to become?

New Girl Scouts We want to become Junior Girl Scouts. Will you accept us?

Troop Leader/Investing Officer Do you come of your own free will?

Troop Leader/Investing Officer Now, we are ready to pin the pins in the pinholder (Junior Pin
and the World Pin) on the left side your chest.

Troop Leader, assisted by Troop Co-Leader and a Senior Girl Scout pins the Junior Girl Scout Pin
and the World Pin on each girl while she makes the Girl Scout Sign. Then the Troop Leader,
Troop Co-Leader and Senior Girl Scouts give each one a Girl Scout Handshake.

Please all rise for the Entrance of colors & remain standing for the Philippine National

2. OPENING PRAYER
Remain standing for the invocation to be led to us
by________________________followed by _________________________________ for the
Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas.

Almighty Father we raise our minds & hearts to you/ at the beginning
of this ceremony/. We humbly beg for your guidance/,protection &
forgiveness of our sins.//
Deign to bless the Boy Scouts of the Philippines/ & the Scouting Movement
of this Institution,/as well as the Scouters all over the world.//Fill the soul of
our Scoutmasters with your spirit of knowledge,/of wisdom /& of reverence
that influenced by your divine leadership//.
We ask you to help our Crew leaders,/ know their members & be sensitive
to their needs/, help them realize that attitude & good examples/ are more
important than skills/ & be fair & generous to all//.

Facing the audience.Lets recite the Panunumpa ng Katapatan sa Watawat ng Pilipinas. Repeat
after me. ( The Scouter in-charge recites the pledge facing the Philippine Flag- Scout Sign )
Ako ay Pilipino buong katapatan nanunumpa sa watawat ng Pilipinas at sa bansang
kanyang sinasagisag na may dangal , katarungan at kalayaan na ipinakikilos ng sambayanang
Maka-Diyos,Maka Kalikasan Makatao at Makabansa. Ready Front!!!!
4. The Opening & Welcome Remarks
For the opening and welcome remarks lets hear from our very supportive Mam Irene D.
Ocampo,Principal IV. After the speech…………..

Emcee: Thank you very much mam for such a wonderful words of welcome & opening
ceremony. We shall now have our outfit Investiture & ceremony proper.
Lets all welcome our Scout Master Alma B. Paneda to formally officiate our ceremony.

5. SM Alma Paneda: You have presented yourselves before this outfit and asked to be made
Scouts. Is this your own wish?

Participants: Mam , yes mam!

SM Alma Paneda: In this ceremony you will be received into this Outfit as volunteer scouts/&
into the world of Brotherhood of Scouting./ The Scout Ideals as contained in the Scout Oath and
Law present a code for living & a standard of conduct that must be observed by all members of
the scouting movement at all times/.Scout spirit is living everyday right kids?.Sige nga magbigay
ng halimbawa , yung pagiging ___________disiplinadoo di ba tama? Yes …You show it in the
way you act & the things you say & do.
Now be ready scouters Scouters for the pledge of the Scout Oath and Law.

his fellowmen.
 3rd Scout: A scout is helpful.He is concern about other people & willingly
volunteers to help others without expecting any rewards
4th Scout: A scout is friendly: He is a friend to all. A brother to all scouts & seek to
understands others.
5th Scout: A Scout is courteous. He is polite to everyone regardless of age and
position.
6th Scout: A scout is kind. He understands there is strength in being gentle.
7th Scout: A Scout is obedient. He follows the rules of his family,school &
outfit.He obeys the law of his community & country.
8th Scout: A Scout is cheerful. He looks for the bright side of life.He tries to make
others happy.
9th Scout:A Scout is thrifty. He saves for the future & carefully uses his time &
property.
10th Scout: A Scout is brave.He has courage to stand for what he thinks his right.
11th Scout:A Scout is clean. He keeps his body & mind fit & clean , his home &
community too.
12th Scout: A Scout is reverent. He is reverent towards God & faithful in his
religious duty.

10.Emcee: You have heard the words of the scout oath & law. DO YOU ACCEPT THESE
DUTIES & Responsibilities of being a true Scout?
