- The Green Sai Gon group was founded by Mr.
Nguyen Luong Ngoc, inspired by the Padawara group
in Indonesia, which also practices environmental
protection under this model. Later, the group was
joined by four members including Nhan, Duy, Vi and
Kiet. Up to now, the Saigon Xanh group includes five
admin members, 12 official members and more than
100 members known through social networks. The
group's members are mainly young people. As group
leader Nguyen Luong Ngoc (nickname Shin, 27 years
old) shared: "The group members are mainly students,
technology drivers, freelance workers, real estate
workers in their 20s, very energetic, cheerful,
enthusiastic and not afraid of suffering or difficulty.

MISSION
The Saigon Green group is committed to not only
collecting trash and recycling waste from rivers in
Saigon, but also working to change community

ACTIVITIES:
The group usually operates every 2 or 3 days, with the
whole group cleaning together at a different location,
from about 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Every cleaning
session is 10 bags of trash, more than 20 bags
cleaning up trash in rivers and lakes, collecting trash,
plastic waste at sea
Despite the harsh sunlight of Saigon, dozens of young
people are not afraid of difficulties and are ready to
wade into the pitch-black canal to clear the garbage
clogging the sewers. The foul smell and dangers under
the black water did not make them afraid. The spirit of
responsibility and solidarity in the group helped the
young people overcome it difficulties and contribute to
building a greener, cleaner and more beautiful Saigon.
In addition, the group of young Saigonxanh friends
also regularly share information about Saigonxanh
construction projects and tikto videos, passionately
working to restore the beauty of Saigon. This is a way
