Soph’s Craft Stuff

Eyes and nose:

Niffler: 4ply light pink cotton, 2mm hook.

Nose:
Sc6 in magic ring
R1. Inc in all [12st]
R2. (Inc3, sc3) x2 [18st]
R3. Sc in all
Materials: R4. (Dec3, sc3) x2 [12st]
• 4ply light pink cotton R5. Sc in all
• Sirdar Country Style wool blend black R6. (Inc1, sc1, inc1, sc3) x2 [16st]
• 3.5mm hook R7. Inc1, sc1, inc2, sc8, inc2, sc1, inc1
• 2mm hook [22st]
• 6mm toy eyes R8. Sc in all
• Slicker brush (optional, to fluff up fur
at the end) Eye rings: make 2
Sc8 in magic ring
Finish

Place eye rings around the 6mm (or


whichever size fits yours best) safety
eyes but do not put the fastners on the
back yet, sew to top of nose leaving 10st
between them. See picture above.
Set this aside for now.

Now attach eyes between round 9&10 R15. Ch10, join chain with a sc in the

Put a little stuffing in the bottom of the

back through and place a few stitches

Hands: Right foot:

Left hand: Do not stuff the feet, simply sew up the
R4. Ch4, slst into first ch, sc in all ends, putting a stitch between each toe.
R5. Sc2, (ch4, slst into first ch, sc1) x4, sc
to end
Right hand: Sew hands and feet to the arms and
R4. Sc6, ch4, slst into first ch, sc to end legs. And then sew these onto the body.

Do not stuff the hands, simply sew up
each end, putting a stitch between

Pickett:
Using a slicker brush, brush your brand
new niffler everywhere except nose,
hands and feet to give it a nice fluffy
effect. Be careful not to brush too close
to the eyes as they can get easily
scratched.
